I have a favored method of using the Box. It works far better than anything I've tried, but I am concerned that it might not be the healthiest. I could use some advice.
here's how it works. It's basically a 20 oz sports drink bottle with the bottom cut off and a hole in the lid just big enough for the stem. I tape a produce bag on the bottom of the bottle and suck through the top of the bottle so that the bag comes inside of it to form a vaccuum when I pull on the bottom of the produce bag with a long piece of folded tape. The ability to use my hands to fine tune the vapor thickness instead of modifying my breath is wonderful. I tend to get feelings of anxiety when I change my breathing patterns. Also, being able to look at the vapor density as I pull, makes it so that I can get just the right thickness that I want and avoid over-toasting the trench as much as I normally do.
This is the most efficient and easy way to use the vape, to me. I tend to get dry lung easily when hitting from the box, stem, and whip.
I think that the melting point of the plastic produce bag and the bottle are not likely low enough for the temperature ranges of the vapor. However, I wonder if I might be wrong and whether I should be creating a new type of device. Ideally I would be using acrylic, like a steam roller, but I don't know if there are volcano-quality bags out there the size I need. The other issue is flexibility, the produce bags create a really nice vaccuum, when i pull the 'string' to fill the bottle, and they mold to the inside of the bottle so that there's very little missed vapor on the inhale.
@magicflight: If a product made of acrylic and volcano quality bags with the MFLB logo on it was offered. I think it would be not only a profitable opportunity for you, but also a very good device for the customers.
This is better than any bubbler, whip, or air pump method I've tried.
Being able to serve up your friends with bottles of vapor is pretty damn sweet. No need to worry about teaching, but if you feel like letting them do it, it's very easy for them to see the vapor and learn the feel of vaporizing without that bit of stress that breath control can add.
Personally, I love not having to alter the nature of my breathing while I "pull" a bag. There's no more efficient way to use the vape either, IMO.
As for stealth, I can have my bottle and Box near my lap while I pull a bag and then use a straw on top of the stem for extra stealth. This can be as inconspicuous as having the box in your fist, for certain situations.
Anyway, I was just wondering if any folks had ideas of better materials and I wanted to share my favored method of vaping. I had seen and ignored posts about it a couple times before I tried it, and kicked myself for doing so.
I absolutely love it, but am wondering if I should have health concerns about the materials.
