I asked the question earlier in the thread and someone said it's about $10-15 (you don't always get charged and it should be $5+GST) and about 5-8 days for shipping. I'm probably ordering it soon so I'll let everyone know how it goes.philmcneal said:haha do you have a vaporgenie? if so how would you compare vs that since they are in similar price points...
did you had to pay duty if you live in Canada?
I don't live in Canada, don't know about duty. Ordered it last wednesday, and it made it from California to Chicago by saturday.philmcneal said:haha do you have a vaporgenie? if so how would you compare vs that since they are in similar price points...

Is this a real concern? I haven't bought my LB as of yet, but this point would concern me a bit because of the longevity of the product (although I do know this product has a lifetime warranty).vap999 said:What are the options to deal with the seeming inevitable loosening up of the copper battery-contacting ring?
Have you ever tried Maha Imedion batteries in The LB? I was thinking of getting them and was curious how the fit would be.Haywood said:I'm on the road right now, with almost no time to respond properly, but I must warn you that when I tried to tighten up the negative terminal (the ring contact) on my prototype, I only made things worse. My solution with the six LBs I've bought and given away has been to recommend fat batteries. The 2700mAh MaHa cells are by far my favorite choice. They have almost no crimp to catch the negative ring contact when inserting and removing, and they are fat enough to never slip. They really have their rated capacity as well. My "working" Launch Box has been used daily for months, and the contact is still sure every time.

Looking forward to reading your opinion on those. Happy vaping!annaK said:thanks for everyones input...
i just purchase the C9000 charger kit, which came with a case and 4 maha 2700mAh batteries.... Honestly, I've gone through so many battery chargers in the past 5 years... this time I just wanted quality, no matter the price.
I also purchased a 4 pack of the maha IMEDION AA 2100 mAh Ultra Low Discharge.... i'll let everyone know how they fit when I receive them (and the LB!). If they are no good, i'll buy some eneloops.
Eneloops do not fit snugly. At least not on my LB. I think there are slight differences in hole size on various Boxes. I have two (one being a replacement) and the batteries I have (not stock) fit well in the replacement but fit loosely in the other.annaK said:thanks for everyones input...

That kit has been discussed. It's not a bad deal.B. said:Anyone picked up this battery kit? Looks pretty good to me. 8 aa batteries and a charger for $33 on amazon. Plus it has 2 aaa's and C and D adapters.

Not completely.philmcneal said:hey if your travelling with the MF, is it possible to clean it out of resin before boarding a domestic flight?
The best thing to do would be to buy a new one to bring with you. At the end of your trip you could maybe sell it off to someone or if you're generous donate it to a compassion club to give to a member.philmcneal said:hey if your travelling with the MF, is it possible to clean it out of resin before boarding a domestic flight?
