Howdy Y'all,
Just thought I'd say that I love the MFLB and have been using it for about a month now.
So the only vaporizer that I've used is the Volcano Classic, of which I've had for about 4 years (right before the Volcano Digit was released w/ the Easy Valve system). I got the Volcano at a time when there wasn't much competition and was definitively "the Cadillac" vaporizer. I'm not sure I would jump to buy a $530 USD vaporizer today, however....not that I feel like I got robbed or anything (the Classic is an attractive minimalist sci-fi-looking device). I've definitely gotten my money's worth from it...
The one big thing I didn't like about it was that it is not at all portable, so during the summer I did a simple web search for portable vapes and found this one. (I was also interested in moving from the bag system to maybe a whip box or something, just to try it out.) You can't really go to the beach with a Volcano unless you blow a bag up and rush to the beach....which I have done LOL.
Anyways, I'm not gonna do a review or anything since I would just repeat what everyone else says.... E.g., takes some finesse to use (some learning curve); you should consider the Maha c9000 WizardOne charger for max performance esp. if you want to use it as your main device; you should use the box natively as it was originally designed to be used that way (???) and, again, for optimal performance; it's not a party/many-user vape, just 1-2 people; it's very ninjutsu, etc., etc., etc., etc.
I know the economy is tough and all, but I found it funny when I saw an Instructables.com "how to make a launch box" page...the lifetime warranty balances out the cost IMO because most of us aren't very good at woodwork (I've been afraid of woodcutting machine since Jr. High).
I also like the small touches like the words on the bottom and the logo on the top of the box.
One question to you guys: Does the MFLB need to be cleaned out regularly? Does the resin that builds up on the "shoulder bars" affect the performance negatively? The reason I ask is that I tend to maintain it well by using the included brush after every trench and it's been keeping up a lot better than I thought the wood would be (since wood is pourous)....
