Here are a couple links that may be of interest to you. I am actually thinking of building my own MFLB to save money. My question is, does anyone have any other details on the LB, such as mesh type (woven?) and mesh diameter/wire thickness, or even better, a supplier?
Any information on the copper coated steel wire would also be appreciated.
Also, if you could give me some technical specs of the LB, such as resistance of the steel wire/mesh, or the currents/voltages it operates at that would be very helpful.
Those are helpful, thanks!Nuphile said:Here are a couple links that may be of interest to you. I want to order this tonight if someone can recommend it to me?...lowfront said:
I have no personal experience with that charger, but I took max's advice, and bought this charger from Thomas Distributing earlier today.lowfront said:I want to order this tonight if someone can recommend it to me?...lowfront said:

Perhaps you'd care to elaborate? What is it, SPECIFICALLY, that you don't like about the Launch Box? Also, might I ask are you an experienced vaporist? The reason I ask is because it is perhaps that you dislike vaporising itself rather than the LB specifically?spooky said:Wow, I can't believe how popular the lunchbox appears to be.
Am I the only one who considers this to be a 100% horrible product?
Mine just sits gathering dust. Biggest waste of money ever.
(just thought this thread could use a little more balance I hate to see people throw their money away)
You are either not doing it right or you are just trolling.:/spooky said:Wow, I can't believe how popular the lunchbox appears to be.

You can get it cheaper. Puffitup.com has a 15% off [one-time use] coupon, Vapeworld.com has a 12% off one [which I think may be used more than once]. Both sell the MFLB.ThunderBrow said:Read through the majority of this thread and with advice from my friend who already owns this vape, I've decided to purchase it. I was just wondering if $99 is the cheapest you can get the Launch Box for or is there any coupons or cheaper places to purchase the vape. Thanks!
I don't consider the MFLB a waste of money and it's a perfect vaporizer for me since it went above and beyond all of my expectations and it suits my vaporizing needs perfectly since I like to keep my use a secret.spooky said:Wow, I can't believe how popular the lunchbox appears to be.

Did you miss my post on the last page that said I'd been using a 204F for years? I'd say that's a rec. Here's a comparison chart for some of the MAHA chargers. Personally, I think there's such a good selection of models from them that I wouldn't bother looking at another manufacturer.lowfront said:I want to order this tonight if someone can recommend it to me?...lowfront said:

No they don't. Low discharge just means you can charge them, put them away, and a month later they'll have much more remaining charge than regular batteries, which will lose their charge much quicker when they don't get used right away. If you charge, then use them right away, regular high capacity bats (2500mAh and up) will give you longer use time in the LB.O wait....this batteries won't do me any good because they need to be "low discharge right"
Just my on this one.. I don't have the same issues you've experienced, at least not after the second time using it.. My abv can come out an nice even light brown, or I can toast it to an even dark, dark brown. The only time I got a mix of green or black was the first time or two I used it before I got the hang of it..spooky said:The longer I own this product, the more dissatisfied I am with it.
In my original review I said I would only recommend this as a secondary portable vapourizer. Now that the novelty factor has worn off, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.
The fact is, twice the material will get you half the effect (if you're lucky) compared to a convection vapourizer.
When you're finished a load, you're either left with material that is half brown and half green (not fully done) or half brown and half black (over done).
Magic flight loses all credibility by claiming this unit is nearly as efficient as convection models. This is a joke. Maybe (but I highly doubt it) under strict laboratory conditions, but in real world usage, not a chance.
The *only* good qualities about this product are it's portability and wireless operation, but that isn't enough. I don't even use mine any more.
And don't even get me started on the absurd/awkward usage of batteries. Peeling labels is annoying and even then the batteries sometimes don't work without wiggling them just right.
To summarize, this product just plain sucks. Eventually there will be a decent battery-powered portable unit, but this isn't it.
Save your money and get a real vapourizer from Arizer, 7th Floor, or Storz & Bickel.
I've *never* gotten a strong effect using the lunchbox, regardless of what I put in it (or how much).
That is exactly how I feel. The LB really has changed my life, and where I am able to vaporize. It also helps my pain more than the Vapor Warez I was using. I recently packed the VW away, and am using the Launch Box exclusively now.GreenLeaf said:I don't consider the MFLB a waste of money and it's a perfect vaporizer for me since it went above and beyond all of my expectations and it suits my vaporizing needs perfectly since I like to keep my use a secret.spooky said:Wow, I can't believe how popular the lunchbox appears to be.

I can get very ripped on a tiny amount of herb
Sorry, but IMO you're the one with no credibility. The simple and easy answer to a completely vaped trench with high efficiency is just loading a small amount. I can use this vape with just a very small pinch of herb to just take the edge off-not even a real high. I can also keep at it, loading a larger amount but still very low quantity, and get an excellent buzz. Of course how long it takes to get a good high depends on the herb and the person. Personally, although I'm an everyday user, I don't have a high tolerance. The LB can be very efficient. It can also be inefficient if not used correctly/carefully.spooky said:When you're finished a load, you're either left with material that is half brown and half green (not fully done) or half brown and half black (over done).

You want a visa gift card if you want to remain anon. Most banks do do them. What you signed up for is a pre paid credit card. That is linked to you just as a normal credit card.Phractal said:As for credit card statement, I bought a disposable credit card from Walmart, put exactly how much money I needed ($105 for the LB, a whip, and two extra batteries from puffitup w/ the 15% discount code) used it, and then I'm just going to throw it away. Sadly, to activate the credit card you need to provide your name/social security number or drivers license information. So it is linked to your name, but probably is harder to trace than whatever credit/debit card you use normally.
