There was a good deal on Classifieds... sadly for US guys only... I offered more but it looks like he prefers to deal with US peoples only... too bad...

It looks like the ebay deal is already gone also.

Ok, no more cap for me, I don't know why I sold mine years ago (for cheap, to a US guy I believe, link here ) :bang:
Don't cry my friend.
You can find a cap here : https://verdampftnochmal.de/products/en/lotus-vaporizer-silver-cap
Then, you'll need a wpa, a jhook, and your world we'll be fixed.
(i can eventually make you a wpa, i have a metal lathe)

I got a replacement plate for my lotus from the Lotus site. I was taken off guard with their closing. I would have purchased a large dish cap if I had the cash at the moment. At least I'll be able to keep mine going for a good long time. This is a special vape and I am still sad it's gone. I used it last night and it melted me. Even after going hard with VB, TB, and TM lately the Lotus still stood out as different and special and it got me just as high if not more so. There is just something about that vapor profile that is magic.

If anyone has extra lotus wood let me know. Even if there are some burns.

I have. They pair nicely, depending on how you hold the glass -- I found it was hotter on my fingers than the aluminum stem when I would hold it by the curved bit. Here's a photo:

Looks great. What is the best way you’ve found to hold it? How is the cooling of the vapor and flavor compared to the aluminum stem?

Holding it by the stem is less natural but helps -- I wonder if this is why I see folks with lil socks on their j-hooks. I will say that the vapor is interestingly not much cooler than it is with the aluminum stem, IIRC. For that reason, and since the aluminum stem is easier to set down, I mostly just use it, instead.

Good to know! I currently only have the metal stem and really enjoy it, but might get a cheaper glass j-hook just to try it out.

I still have my lotus but gave up because torches are so unreliable. If they have improved, can someone rec one? I swear they last a few refills and they die. I been through several vertigo,( ignition spark dies)
And others.... I use good butane and bleed out the air etc.

Yeah torches are a pain in the arse. For the lotus I found the best one for me was the honest torch that comes with sticky bricks, also got an atomic (looks similar to honest but has an adjusty slider for the flame length and much bigger tank) which I've been using more lately. The issues for me primary relate to inconsistent flame length and extinguishing flames, the honest seems to be easiest to deal with in that regard

im also amazed by this vape. sadly im combusting every once in a while, but hitting the sweet spot more often now.
AS for the torches, i got a 7 bucks honest torch, works Like a Charm. Sometimes stutters a bit.

I use exclusively this torch with the Lotus (you may find an other seller or plateform) : https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/32992928288.html?gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller&scm=1007.33416.213724.0&scm_id=1007.33416.213724.0&scm-url=1007.33416.213724.0&pvid=e3b57a6e-ed58-4a63-8ef5-d2aa3e1f28d1&_t=gps-id:pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller,scm-url:1007.33416.213724.0,pvid:e3b57a6e-ed58-4a63-8ef5-d2aa3e1f28d1,tpp_buckets:668#0#131923#86_668#888#3325#5_23416#0#213724#0_23416#4721#21967#748_23416#4722#21972#5_668#2846#8110#1995_668#2717#7565#746_668#1000022185#1000066059#0_668#3422#15392#985_4452#0#214000#0_4452#3474#16498#620_4452#4862#24463#344_4452#3098#9599#466_4452#5106#23440#531_4452#3564#16062#191

The flame is thin, much better and precise for the Lotus than the sticky brick one.
The first one i bought died after one year of daily use and one hundred or more refills.
If you bleed out the air, it will last a long time.
