So one could purchase this and start making just very high quality hash oil to load in a syringe and continue using my current equipment to add a bit to the coil of my KISS CART like I do now with waxes and shatter OR I could also start mixing with PEG blend to go ecig style?

Is the end result before adding the PEG blend something that can be touched or is it too wet?

Very cool. I may have to check this out. Is there a new version coming soon or is the product kind of stable at this point?

I don't have a great understanding of making BHO (having never done it) however my understanding is that the consistency of the resulting concentrate has a lot to do with how it is processed and purged. I believe vacuum purging is what yield shatter consistency, while straight evaporation will yield a more liquid product which can then be beaten into a wax consistency. I may be totally off base here and I am sure there is better info in the Concentrates threads here on FC.

As to Sapphire carts I've been using two for over 8 months (v5's I think), one loaded with straight Pure Gold and one with winterized wax from a local dispensary mixed with 40% EjMix. Neither has leaked on me and the PG one has gone through at least 8 grams of the stuff. Mine were purchased from GotVapes.

Just ordered some EJMIX and syringe. Going to make my own with some shatter I picked up. Can someone suggest whether I will have better luck with a Kanger Protank2 mini or Kanger Protank3 mini? I don't understand the difference and have only used atomizers for wax and shater. New to e liquids.

I want something that will not leak and work well. Please recommend the best device available for fill and go?

say i make 1g wax, 1ml ejmix, 2ml aqueous vegetable glycerin, .5ml menthol flavoring. how long i store that in a small bottle? is it going to be too weak? i was hoping 5-10 puffs be enough . also how much will that smell.

I would avoid the glycerin, unless you felt very strongly about it. Strength/weakness depends on your e-cig hardware, different devices deliver varying amounts of vapor.

I would suggest that you winterize your wax with everclear before you mix with the ej mix. I use the full kit, but with winterization I produce a final product that has virtually no smell (absolutely no MJ smell) when used, even indoors. No need to add any flavoring to cover smell.

Quick question about the mini pro tank 3. Just got it and disassembled to check it all out and I found something that concerned me. The groove where the bottom oring goes before you put the tank on, there is a small white ball stuck in that groove which is pinching out the o-ring when you tighten it down. Can't imagine it is supposed to be there as I'm sure it would leak but it's stuck pretty good and wanted to make sure before I really pried it out. What you you think??

No. Winterizing is the process of removing any remaining plant material from the concentrate filtration at very cold temperatures.

Also, none of us will have any ability to tell you how much your random concentrate will smell...you are going to need to experiment and do some of the work here to get your desired result...Or, do as I do and start from fresh and run the process from start to finish to control all the variables.

Don't know how to post a pic. But decided to pop it out. Real small, like pencil lead width sphere just big enough to get stuck in that groove, white, probably plastic? can still tell where it was cause there is a copper color there now. It must have been there prior to the plating of the part.

The o-ring seats now, hopefully it seals well.

Guys I need help. I have some EJMIX, syringes, and dropper bottle coming along with a stainless filter from liquidizer.

I also have some BHO wax that I bought that puts on a small fireworks show(sparks shoot) when I light a tiny dab on fire with a lighter. I have other shatter that just melts cleanly and sizzles a bit at the end.

I assume the BHO wax that sparks is not purged properly. How can I fix it and make it safe? There is about 3.5 grams of it. Should I winterize it? Will that fix it?

Sooooo it appears I am allergic to peg. Been using the sapphire carts for a month or so and only noticed that it would throw my stomach off a little right after using it but not enough to stop using it.
Now I got the mini pro tank 3 and mixed a new batch of EJ that was probably higher % EJ than what I ran in the sapphires and loaded the MPT3 with it and the MPT3 put out WAY bigger clouds than the sapphires. Took 4-5 nice super thick clouds from it, this was probably 5pm or so on Wednesday. Woke up Thursday morning about 4-5am with my lower legs itching like I had mosquito bites on them. Got up at 5:30am for work and had rash/hives from my neck to my feet. Been on Benadryl and prednisone by mouth after getting shots of both from the doc. on Thursday. Still fighting it. Miserable!!!!!!

Just ordered the kit! Liquidizer guys where great and gave me a great deal!!! I won't have a chance to make concentrate immediately however I have some BHO(shatter and wax) that I would like to winterize and mix with EJMIX. Any tips for winterizing BHO that you didn't make yourself are appreciated! Otherwise I'm going to just follow the directions and see how it goes!

hey guys, I'm in the search for a pen set up that will work with my own pg/vg bio tinctures. i currently already have the Gentlemens Double Agent pen because you can use it while it is charging, and was wondering if the Saboteur tank would work well with these tinctures, say, compared to a Kanger Mini Protank 3?

I'm also curious about Gentleman's PG/VG blend vs. EJMIX. Will their blend work as well as EJMIX with wax/crumble BHO? It seems like EJMIX is much more expensive - its $30 for a much smaller amount than the Gentleman's blend. Here's a link to that as well:

Any type of concentrate can be winterized, and keep in mind that afterwards it will probably have a different consistency. I have only done it a couple of times though so my knowledge is less than that of many many others here on FC.
