Looks like they have 11” hooks now. I’ve only seen the 8ish inch and smaller ones.

I would like to get a J-Hook for my Vapman (Swiss OG) as I am going to buy a Vapman glass WPA from VGoodiez. Since I don't know yet if I like J-Hooks at all (I don't have one yet), I don't want to spend too much money and would order from DHGate first.
However, after reading through this thread, I'm still not sure which J-Hook is best for the Vapman.
This one has been mentioned a lot, but I don't know if the Vapman has enough clearance:
Or would something like this be better?

Vapman user here: I have two simple J-Hooks in the style of the second link, but without the cooling dimples (one of them is the official Lotus J-Hook). I am very happy with both of them. But I'm still struggling with my Vapman glass WPA. The first one broke and I don't trust the second one to last a lifetime either.
In case you decide for the pipes in the first link – tell me your experiences
But I would clearly opt for a thin mouthpiece.

I'm a little paranoid every time I use the Vapman WPA! The glass is so thin at the adapter end. Thank you, good to know the simple ones work. And yes, the WPA doesn't look very sturdy - i just seems to be the only glass WPA as far as I can see.

Thanks, I'll share my experiences here in case I'll get one of these. While I like wide mouthpieces for my water pipes, I think for the J-Hook I will go with a thin one.

I'd suggest the Lotus j-hook, $20 at Vgoodiez. It's small but plenty big enough to cool a Vapman and it's angled perfectly for using a Lotus, in case you end up with one of those too. The also have the elev8 one which looks great for $17.

Thank you very much, I saw the Lotus j-hook on VGoodiez earlier and it already caught my eye because of the look. Well, I was just about to complete my order at VGoodiez at that moment, then saw your post and was now able to add the Lotus j-hook as well before they send out my package later today. Let's see, if I'll like j-hooks then I'll get the elev8 later and/or order some of the others from DHGate.

I hope you enjoy it! It's smaller than I'd use for hotter vapes, but for the Lotus and Vapman I think it's perfect. It's small enough to fit a small semi-hard case so it's reasonably portable.

Yeah and this one is worth trying, if you want, great with the TM, and I do think VM should be able to clear it, maybe we can confirm

Yeah I mean myself and many others started using a basic hook with TM, plain backwards RBT stems as WPA, definitely changed the game but it changed even further when I got even better hooks and fancy cooling stems

I recently picked up a TAG 18mm j-hook, and wow, it's a beast of a thing. Heavy, thick glass. Just makes my other j-hooks feel like toys ;-)
But yeah, very impressed with the cooling from it. The sheer thermal mass of the glass seems to do a lot.

Recently bought a couple of GVB j-hooks and feel the same way. The “thick walled glass” description was fully explained once I had them in hand. Quality, heavy glass and worth the extra cost.

I finally got my ceramic project back from the kiln. I was intending on it to be 18mm, but it shrank more than I expected. Not a major problem as it works perfectly with 14mm and a silicone adapter. I'm super pleased with how it turned out.

I bought the Couchlog pipe Jhook thing. It's fantastic. I love how it comes with a base that's magnetic. Holy hell it makes things easier. Pricey sure but classy AF too.
