The HydroBrick by Sticky Brick Labs

I only own the OG Brick. But I put a screen under the heat intake glass. In that case, nothing can actually burn. In addition, every beginner can then use the brick immediately without anything going wrong.

I read about the additional screen in the Junior-Brick Thread and found it to be good for the OG Brick.

Now I sometimes use a torch with 3 flames. Good Results, fast. But don't hold the three flames straight in the Intake Glass :-)

It wont combust as long as the flame isnt too deep and in there too long i usually do 5-6 seconds per hit

Just popping back in here to say I finally got a hydrobrick, another member needed some cash and had to sell a near-new beta so I got that along with a new hydrotube: an evolver hydracirc, which I had been wanting to try ever since getting my evolver hydratree (and spoiler, it is pretty fucking awesome, probably better)

I'm not sure what type of wood I have, Iroka perhaps? I think that was an option for the early HBs, but betas who knows. It's got the longer glass heat intake, and I can definitely see how the shorter ones the production models come with would be a bit better. Even so its no trouble as is, and I also can see now how the cork is useful too, the clouds really come when you're covering the hole here, then lay off to clear, as opposed to more constant tapping in my other TriiBricks. I'm taking it slow and easy since I can't imagine cleaning would be very easy with that long wood vapor path underneath, don't want to risk any scorch to spoil this great taste.

I'll be back with photos later, happy to finally be part of this club and add to my collection... (still need a FlipBrick though) Fantastic work as usual @StickyBricks & @Slow Draw McGraw!

Yup been loving it! Haven't posted since the effects can be distracting though...

I've done some concentrates in steel mesh and help finer too, and its nice how deep the bowl is for potentially huge loads as well. And yes that taste is so pure even through water, Blueberry Dome was soooo goood! Need to try it with my hydratree at some point too

Nope, but it has a deeper bowl so you can load more, meaning you could take a hit off of a fully packed HydroBrick that would hit harder than a Jr, but same amount vs same amount you'll be looking at more or less the same performance. Here it is just designed for hydrotube use first

Haha yes and that is how it starts, enjoy your journey to building a Brick collection! (and just wait til you discover the other vape brands that use the same direct torch convection heating)

Yupup though VapMan and VapCap use conduction, I meant other brands that are just like StickyBricks (which are themselves based off Triihouse) but with different form factors and such -- like Noochie, Essence, Dreamwood... Ultimately still nothing quite like a Brick

Completely agree with @Shit Snacks and will add, that while I enjoy both, I'll reach for my Maxx everytime unless I'm leaving the house. It may only be the difference in focal length with my aging eyes making the difference, but I seem to have much more precise control with both of my Maxx's. I can dance right up to near combustion without fear dry or thru water with the Maxx.

If you like your SBJ, you won't be disappointed with a Maxx IMO.

Just loaded my Maxx with .13 gram of cbd flower. Epic vapor production. Just wow. Amazes me every time I use it. With the first hit I thought I combusted but not even a hot spot. Huge fan of this vape, so much love.

I am in awe of how effective this beast is.

I need to get a whip for my brick. I have both glass pieces for the whip, just unsure of what size silicone tube to get or where to get it. I have never had a water piece, but this silly coupon code from dhgate made me hafta order one, or two. (Code is DHGATE18CES , good for 20 bucks off a purchase of 21 bucks or more!?!) So now I'm gonna need to get my whip into shape any suggestions?

The steel mesh came from RBT, I think now he includes hemp fiber isntead though. It is essentially just stainless steel mesh like for screens, so you could even get big screens and crumple em together tightly
