mestizo - That battery should work fine for you. The weight isn't that big of a deal in a backpack. I'm interested to see how long it will power the HI. Hope the blood wood unit is working well.

I should have know that ilovebOObs would really enjoy a glass nipple. Great job on the tubes. There are just so many combinations and variations possible with glass, silicone, wood, and stainless steel.
The glass nipple does seal fairly well to the end of the 3/8" HI center tube. The seal is best when the tube is in line with the HI. The tube can be angled just slightly to control temperature by allowing some leakage. It is sort of a ball and socket type connection. The slightly closed opening does not seem to restrict flow. You can hear the air whistling through the tube as you draw. It lets you know there is good air flow.

u bwade wunner - Nice to hear your HI is working well for you. Sorry about your ABV. I don't even save mine anymore. The motorcycle battery should work well for the HI. I'm thinking a solar panel would work too.

Looks choice boobs.looks like it was made for the Hi Man..speaking of glass,I have made enquiries about a cloud like hydratube. It will be worth the wait and the right price too and available to all.I have approached a few different glass blowers and its pretty definite it will drop down sometime in may/june sooner.nothing else mmmkay.

I was looking at the Cloud's hydratube system as well, looks pretty cool.
I bet with the HI it would be awesome

I love this idea and use this method with the glass gong stem until i ve figured a way of replacing my 10mm stem.

it says the VV adaptor goes from 100ma to 1200 ma so you d need a panel and a charger unit to transfer the charge into the battery? what size panel and charger unit would you need 1200 ma Im guessing or above?

I feel your pain, V! It's kind of hard to talk about or add beautiful pictures here of something we don't have yet. I tried to not vape until I got my HI. Caved in after about an hour and vaped a couple bags for my depression of not having my HI yet.

thanks so much for confirming & answering my questions guys! i appreciate it 'grately' ! I hope this lil puppy can keep me lifted (& water filtered) until my day comes on the Cloud list..which puts me around next year on that..haha. On another topic, I was just using my vapor bros through a new showerhead bub I got locally(VERY poorly made, but hits like a beast + removable mouthpiece GonG), the joints are disgusting. Its not "real" 18mm joints...its like almost 18mm in diameter then it seems the 'Ground Glass' has been painted on, or sprayed on, or something. This bothers me.... as I do not need to be inhaling tiny particles of glass(worrries me more so since there is a GonG joint after the water filteration). I just had an awful reaction after two hits from my VB. I could barely breathe for a few hours, etc. There also seems to be some buildup of white stuff in random specs on inside of bub that weren't there earlier today. Im thinking it may be possible that its simply a LOT of dust...if that is possible? Which is my question, do vapes that pull their fresh air from the ground have a potential to pull dust into your vapor? I am highly allergic to dust, and need something that wont pull air from the surface of a table. Am I being paranoid or is this practical(& probably happening since its a dusty table)? sorry, got off topic. but its urging me to buy an HI!

possibly yes, just keep youre vape area tidy and dust free.Things work better when clean.my car does.I m sure of it .

And The Hi draws air from the top of the island down through a metal heat insulating corridor in through the turbo intakes at the base of the Heater housing.then it races up over the ceramic element heating to 210 deg C in milliseconds and vaporizes the jungle that is your e bowl in seconds or a little longer.God i need a soda after that one this is one beauty of a vape inside and out. I work in engineering myself.

had a good run testing the SS tip today.

I loaded coarse grind flowers, tried a full bowl. noticed a restricted draw. then tried half a bowl still restrictive draw.its all about packing the bowl to get the best airflow.It feels similar to the solo or feels like youre sucking on a milkshake....once the vapor does begin wisp and flow up through the stem its gentler into your e mouth because of the slow restrictive draw..because its flowing slower its also smoother.quite a nice experience over all.very tasty and plenty of cloudy hits.if you try to complete a bowl in one session and you leave the ss tip in the heater and draw continuously.I agree with Iloveboobs.it does draw heat from the element a lttle.Anyway if youre a Heavy hitter you will prefer all glass turbo tube instead.no restrictions, much larger bowl surface area and a larger load which doesn t stand a chance with the heat in the hi.perfect for fast delivery if you need it.



stainless steel tip conclusion

so this option would work for any of you who take a single or a couple of hits every so often during the day like i do.you ll conserve product and enjoy the benefits.I like the SS tip as an option.

anyone who wants warp factor 9 or couch slouch,enjoys slobbering or concentrates can take out the all glass turbo tube.I personally prefer the turbo tube because of the easy airpath.you adapt to the heat and it amazes you with thick vapor.

my wife notices this thing and its thick clouds and never really noticed my eq or solo when it was on.

I think thats most of my review.Ill be sure to post the odd pic when i take a nice one.Ill take on water sometime down the track when its right.

I do think you have a valid concern if you are highly allergic. You should probably either clean the surface under your vape or hold your vape in your hand, but it looks from your sig like all your vapes are table tops.

If you're that sensitive you may want to consider vaping through water as well. You don't want to know what scary things you can inhale through your weed depending where it comes from.

just got an email from Alan yesterday saying the wood has made it! I know by his email he is gonna take a little time extra to examine the blanks to see what the story is they want to tell. We are both alike in sitting on a piece and looking it over until we know what its is supposed to look like. Its tough and take great thought and patients, I have none really when it comes to life and am learning more and more with age and my 3 boys, when it comes to wood, I will put it back and stew on it for as long as it takes. I thank you for the opportunity to send you these Alan and do patiently wait to see what you see!

Thanks for the update / review u bwade wunner. I'm finding that the dryness and size of grind have a big affect on the air flow. Sometimes I need to stir between draws to maintain good air flow and other times I don't. Finding the right combination is part of the fun. There is a trade off between glass, silicone and stainless roasting tubes. The glass allows more heat for roasting and is completely inert, but is breakable. The silicone also allows more heat for roasting plus it is flexible and provides a perfect seal, but will eventually have to be replaced. The stainless tube is pretty much unbreakable and should last a long time. Variety is always good.

Thanks so much for the wood Ed. They are really stunning. Both should work well for a HI. It will be tough to decide how to make that first cut. Will have to study them for a bit. Have learned some lessons from cutting into nice wood too quickly.
