It gets plenty hot at 12V, so the variable supply let's you dial the temp back a bit if you want. I think it's a great option and plan to add one to my purchase.MarcellusWiley said:Does the VV supply get hotter than the traditional non-variable supply? or is the idea to make the HI cooler?
It certainly looks like the one in the 'ten pin' pic Alan posted.ilovebOObs said:wow is that the bocote?

And would the VV solve that problem?

Same question here. Very excited about the prospect of getting a unit myself.

And the ss non threaded tube tips, are they similar to the turbo tube you made a few months back or a new and better design? if so in what way?
Also if I like the way the HI roast's what would it entail to change out the TT with the same innards as the HI?(dont get me wrong the TT is currently my main go to vape by the bed and the CRZ by the PC. since their Roasting tubes can be used in either. The PD is sitting as a b/u.

I will respond to the emails from the forum or you can contact me at alan@toasty-top.com
Just haven't been able to get back with everyone yet. Will try to get a HI unit to everyone I can. Thanks for being patient.
scottio19 said:hey Alan, would your SS tips (that you are selling with the glass stems) fit inside my UD silicone tubing? It is 3/8", the same as your glass stem right? I was thinking about buying a couple of those.
Also, how much would shipping to the States be for a small package like that?
