Hi Alan and the rest of the HI gang! Alan, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving my teeth and making vaping a lot more pleasant for my throat too! 
I am talking about the Vapor Lung I came by yesterday as I was reading the HI thread from the beginning. Let me explain:
I have the Solo on duty 24/7 and we all know the air path is REALLY restricted so it needs looong draws to get a big hit and my sensitive teeth suffer from the prolonged exposure to vapor temps. Had this problem with the MFLB and switched to the Solo for bigger hits and smaller sessions. Didn't work even if it really rips. Teeth pain and throat pain. Got a cheap bubbler (the infamous 40$ one) and GonG adapters from PV. Improved the situation but I believe it needs much more diffusion to be comfy for the teeth. Can't afford it now. Then I started thinking about the HI again and its almost unrestricted draw I read about. Hopefully less than 5sec hits could solve my problem.
I'll need to sell my Solo to be able to afford it though and I'll be without a vape until Alan makes me one so for now I'll have to stay with the Solo
(except if Alan has a "Lost HI" that no one likes and can ship it faster, 
). I have a friend who want my Solo ASAP for a low price... 
The wonderful thing is that I remembered of the Vapor Lung again and it does the work for me since yesterday! It pulls the vapor more efficiently than me from the Solo stem and it roasts the herb much better than I ever could. I then just enjoy the sweet vapor in a bong hit fashion. My teeth don't hurt now and I can re-breath through the Lung until there is no visible vapor. Super efficient! I guess it was not Alan's idea per se if I remember well but I heard it from him so thank you Alan, thank you so much.

No LSV here, just a couple 'Dime Bags' that I got in a care package from 7th Floor. The 5" padded pipe pouch is a perfect fit for the HI.
Great job on the Vapor Lung ili! You are sure welcome. I was just using mine yesterday. I guess they should work with about any vaporizer requiring a draw through. The cap just needs to be modified to fit. Nice to see someone else making one. I'm so glad it has helped your teeth and throat. It really does provide a pleasant experience.
The roasting can continue for much longer than you would normally be able to do with your own lungs. This provides for very consistent and effective roasting. You get the beginning and the ending vapor all mixed together. The clarity of the plastic bottle makes it possible to see the layers of vapor all swirling about. Never completely mixing.
The vapor is so easy to breath out of the bottle as there is almost no restriction and much of the heat has dissipated to the bag and bottle. It was an idea that came to me, but then I found that others had done it before in a combustion situation. The price is definitely right. No need to clean if it gets dirty. Just make a new one. The cap should be re-usable.
Nice travel bag cluffy. I bet your friends enjoy your visit.

and it's so easy to make it anywhere with some tape, a soda bottle and a food bag... Whoever thought of it was a genius, even if it started with smoking in mind!

Thanks for the video ili. That explains the operation very well. I love the gong edition. You can hold your thumb over the hole if you only want half of a bottle/bag. I can see it would be very popular in a dorm room to retain the vapor. A very good way to turn someone on to vapor too. Just hand them the bottle/bag of vapor. A few of them can be made up for a party.

if any of you have the solo aroma bowl and you ve never used it, like me.as an alternative to the copper bowl, it looks real nice sitting in your e Hi with some nice oils in there.I have tiger balm and eucalyptus bubbling.
just about to jump on the Hii train first time today.
Im visiting the US in November C'mon. fly into LA and will travel across to memphis to visit the king .can t wait to see how the whole mmj thing is working out over there.arizona yosemite san fran.You guys rock.cant wait

How does the Cocobolo tube you have there work with the HI, is its fit nice and snug? Did you receive the new beta I sent ya for the Solo with the thinner walls and slotted SS end?

it works really well.the bowl size and depth are the same as the stock Hi tube.The Hi you will find out has no problem continually producing heat.a thinner tube wall maybe 0.25mm would be preferable to stop your e bowl cooking between hits.I am stretching ( waiiting for the man)my supply right now so Im into effiiciency..I m enjoying vapor through the cocobolo stem.It is another high quality option for me and I turn to it a lot when I load a fresh bowl.it is beautiful to hold too.It feels like glass its so smooth.good flavours you use with it help too

a lot of satisfaction with the hi are the different stem combinations.i look at my hi as the lighter and the stem as my doobie if you get my meaning,you bring the hi and hold it horizontally to the full bowl of the stem and all the vape action takes place in the stem especially that sizzle as that Hi heat hits the fresh bowl and glues it together.so to me the experience is more connected with the stem.the shape of it .the taste,the feel all move the vape experience into a slightly different territory.
No i did nt recieve the last stem with the slots etc.Oh well.Just as well i ve sent you a new order then Ed, and thanks for the quick turnaround.

My older log vape takes 45 minutes to build up a core of heat to operate efficiently. When I considered using a battery pack for it, it meant you pretty much wanted to charge it up for 45 minutes and keep it on continuously until the battery ran out. Not very conductive if you wanted to use it from time to time over the space of many hours.
This one takes only 5 minutes before you get acceptable vapor, perfect for spreading out that battery life and not feeling the need to keep it warm/hot continuously. I do plan to build my own battery pack for the HI due to this fact.
Also, it is much smaller than my older log vape as well, making it even more portable.
