Yes. But don't forget that Alan stopped making them for a while before his move. He's been cranking on that list ever since the move transpired, however.

"Thanks for your interest in the HI. I have you on the waiting list now. I'm hoping it won't be too much longer than 6 months. I have completed my move now, so production is now picking up". This is from Alan, dated May 20,2013

Alright, my wong has arrived. I would hate to say this :uhoh: but this just earned the Hi a fucking 10! That's right, it has earned the throne! Alan, your work is flawless - to think you turned this last minute as a favor is mind boggling!

Any chance of using this thing as a but plug just went out the window, it's too pretty....

Alan's work is really precise and beautiful, isn't it? :D

I had sent my HI back to Alan a short while ago for a quick repair and he sent me a beautiful osage orange WonG. The taper on it is perfect. Here it is, pictured with my HI, and two other roasting tubes Alan made for me; a purpleheart, and a black ebony made from a piano sharp key.

All of you waiting for your HI's...... be patient. This is a product worth waiting for. In fact, I'm back on the list again and have to wait for all of you to get yours before mine comes. ;) So "man up" for Pete's sake.... put your big boy/girl panties on and start reading up on technique so that you can hit the ground running when yours arrives.

Maybe I just too fuking hi but what about a ceramic or glass Hi - obviously expensive but it would be pretty...

Alan, what about a bamboo wong or I guess Bong?

Speaking of a BonG tube. Here is one I just made. It has a glass nipple installed. The bamboo is 14mm in diameter. I was only able to get one made from the entire piece as the tolerances on the diameter and wall thickness are so tight. I will need to take some calibers with me the next time I go buy some bamboo. A glass or ceramic HI would look really neat, but I'm thinking it might store too much heat and be uncomfortable to hold.

mvapes - Glad the WonG tube arrived safely and you are pleased. Here is a photo of it. Should last you a while.

Sure is Mom.

there are several really old Yew trees I used to visit in old churchyards in the south of the UK when I lived there .They were planted where old pagan churches were established long ago.I think they, the leaders planted Yew trees to strenghten the energy & experience of ceremony. When Religious practice at these sites changed from pagan to christian, the yew trees remained somehow.I always looked for Yew trees at sacred sites and they were common place.
I sometimes saw evidence of white magic ceremony at these sites on trips out and about, driving for hours in beautiful countryside with no real destination planned.:D

Thats a beauty & no doubt a pretty special saber you got there Mom:)
