Does anyone have a desktop vape that they prefer over the herbalizer?
I'm considering replacing my VapeXhale cloud, but I don't know what I want.
How is the Herbie doing for direct draw. Any Herbie owners have any advice? Is it worth the money?
Can anyone compare it to the cloud Evo?
For someone who has used the volcano and this, is this much quieter? Better in any way? Used volcano's are cheap enough, but if the Herbie is also peoples favorite direct draw vape, I'd consider it.
In the beginning i used my Herbie exclusively for about two months before using any of my other vapes.
It is that good!
For direct draw it delivers cool vapor in large quantities with great ease!
For use with a WT, just connect the required size GonG and you are good to go!
Or connect glass for direct draw like
@mvapes and
@Vitolo do.
I also have the EVO and they are two totally different beasts!
The Herbie is ready way before you are while the EVO requires a wait to heat soak.
They are both equally effective in producing thick vapor that tastes delicious!
If you want a versatile and very accurate vape i would recommend the Herbie.
If you are after brute power and huge clouds go for the EVO.
I do not find the Herbie to be noisy at all, it clicks and whirs to itself quietly.
Some find it to be too noisy but it has never bothered me.
I also like the fact that Herbie is multi talented!
Whip, bags, WT or direct draw are all possibilities!
For me Herbie trumps the EVO though in a few regards, all IMO.
First was Herbie has been rock solid since i plugged her in! A few software glitches here and there but all easily fixed by unplugging the unit.
Second there is NO learning curve! Open Herbie, press the Vaportherapy button and select temp, grind, load and place bowl and start to draw. Slow, fast or medium it does not matter.
Third you can connect Herbie to pretty much anything with the correct connectors.
Fourth and not least is the accuracy of the Herbie!
And my experiences with the EVO:
First it was running too cold from BRAND NEW, returned for recalibration. Not a good way to start. Add another $50 to the price for return shipping anmd two weeks wait time.
I can only get dark brown ABV running at MAX, others can get it running at 2 to 3pm. Seems to be technique sensitive and has a higher learning curve.
The Limited Swagger HT is awesome! Also works really well with my bubbler inverted.
Gets hot as hell at the top!
Have burnt myself on the ELB's when removing after a hit.
So not so conclusive as i love both of them and will not be selling either of them.
I would say try them out before buying if possible!
Some days i think i just need the EVO and then i try Herbie and it all changes again and vice versa...
Vicious vape circle!
