Herbie's been here for two days now. I, too, want the lid to close tighter. I blew up one bag so far and it wasn't on right so vapor was heavily leaking out the bowl until I got it right, which made me think I would like some sort of 'click' type of feedback for when the bag is properly seated.
There you have it. That's all the bad shit I could think of. Now on to what matters...
Every now and then a vape comes along that adds to my understanding of what a vape can or should do. When I got my first Purple Days I never looked at efficiency the same way again, and I wanted my vaporizer to be ready all the time. When the Magic Flight Launch Box arrived it challenged my understanding of the need for visible vapor. At that point in time, however, the need to see visible vapor won out. The Silver Surfer proved to me that smoking type effects were possible with a vaporizer, and I started saying the phrase 'punch to the face' a lot. The Cloud took that to the next level and taught me about the importance and joys of heat retention, not to mention ensuring that almost every hit I would take would be through water. The POD took beauty to a new level. The Vapolution 2 made me a flavor snob. The Ascent and Sublimator gave new meaning to the term 'vape signature' with their unique combinations of conduction/convection/radiation heating.
But this Herbie changes the game and shifts the paradigm. I have gone back through this thread a second time and am on page 70 now, and the common theme among the experienced is that this device is mind altering, even spiritual. People are saying they get higher than on other devices (a common effect with vaporizers, so this doesn't impress me unless it is still happening weeks later). We're hearing about not needing to see clouds anymore, as they are getting heavily ripped on wispy hits. We've got people who know bags suck (come on, we all know that) saying they are now enjoying bags again. I could go on, but it's all in this thread already.
In two days with Herbie I have experienced everything all the others have, so I won't bother restating that here. But since this is what I will be using all the time now, you're gonna he hearing about that later anyhow!
