I typically load 1.5 to 2 scoops from my tobacco spoon in any vape (LSV, Cloud, Herbie), but I want to get down to one or less per session. Yesterday I did one scoop on 390 and left it in the bowl. I came back later for another scoop but I just added it to the earlier bowl. I then came back later and did it again. So basically by this time the bowl was full of spent at 390 herb. I hit that up at 440 for a nightcap and was out in about a half hour. I normally need more than that to get to sleep, as it only had one hit left in it. (btw, I am finding that if I spend a load at one temp, a higher temp will get me one more hit before moving up for one more again. this tells me the extraction at a specific temp is pretty complete!) My next move was going to be hitting a whole nugget, but I fell asleep first.
Things on my Herbie bucket list I still haven't done:
-- the micro load at high temp for one full hit -- Check...Loved It!!
-- Vitolo's thing where he hit it once on high and then backed it down to low for the rest of the session
-- vape a whole nugget
-- find the temp at which shit starts to taste bad
That last one just came to me. I notice the degraded taste on high, but not 390. Somewhere between 390 and 440 it starts to taste spent. I wanna know where that is so I can avoid it. Based on my Herbie usage, it seems most of my vaping with other devices fell somewhere between 390 and 430, but I didn't know it at the time.
