Why yes I have....or rather I had @Oregonglassblower make a custom glass mouthpiece.
You can change glass height, type of bend, mouthpiece size/type etc.
This particular one sits at just the right height on my vape table
You can hit it like a "normal" mouthpiece OR turn on Herbie's fan assist for a turbocharged hit
I take a normal pipe screen that is larger than the inner diameter of the herb chamber and bend it into a dome shape. This keeps the weed in the lower part of the chamber before it flares out. By doing this it keeps the weed from sticking to the top screen and also allows the air to flow evenly through the material. The results of the even flow is a more uniformly cooked bowl with less material being green on the top.
The screens can be found at most LHS and Tabacco specialists.

Yea I have to take some measurements to figure out what I want. Is it possible to make a piece that doesn't need the adapter to work and fits directly on the standard bowl?

Any tricks with using concentrates with this thing or does it just stay particularly whispy? And can I adjust the fan speed?

You're not worried about the taste deteriorating with the heat since the concentrate has little to no plant material in it. You want to pump as much heat into it as you can to get it boiling. I use a bag with the fan for concentrates.

I too use top temp and I use the whip with fan assist or the bag.

@VaPeD&CoNfUsEd - I'm too lazy to do all the mods. I just took out the stock mouthpiece and use the stock whip...love it. I swap my screens occasionally (top to bottom and vice versa) and blow it out on high to clean them. Concentrates are going to be low temp flavor savor wispy sessions. But they are effective! I like to sammich the stuff between two ss pads so nothing gets gunked up from leakage.

removing the stock mouthpiece (the tip) helps the airflow. The whip ID is none too big to begin with and the mouthpiece tip ID is even smaller. Good idea if you are just going with stock pieces

You need not "soak" it.... pour Iso in and shake it around...
I follow that up with a rinse...

Hey guys long time stalker of this site, registered an account recently. Bought a Herbie a couple years back based on this thread and it's still going strong. By far the best vape out there IMO.
One big thing I've noticed (and I think it was mentioned prior) is that the whip takes away a lot of the potency. Vaping a bag gets me way more lit than using the whip all things considered.
There's a Black Friday sale going and I was thinking of picking up the steam roller. Any thoughts on the steam roller?

From the website it look like Chongs Choice is just missing some accessories. It doesnt say aromatherapy though. So is that function actually removed?

A review on the page mentions it being removed so I believe so. If you look at the picture it looks like they put a power button there instead.

Correct, no aromatherapy function, brush, stash box, or herbal blend. Adds four preset temps.
Seems to check all the right boxes, performance should be identical. I don't personally use the aromatherapy, for a difference of $100 I would have jumped on it had it been available when I purchased.

Are you interested in the aromatherapy option? I just bought one for 480 before the Chongs Choice was available so I didn't have the option but the lack of an aromatherapy wouldn't have stopped me from getting one. The logo saying Chongs choice would have been more of an issue with me although I guess you could just cover that with a sticker. I do like the original color much better also though. If you want an original for 480 theVapelifestore.com has it for that price.

I have a water piece I've used with the Delta 3D studios adapter, however I've gotten water in the Herbie a couple times and I don't want to risk it any longer.
