@Vitolo @SSG ive been asking about the song attachment from @Ratchett on here for a bit now to no avail. I asked @Ratchett and he cant confirm unfortunately. (He was still cool though)

SonG + Easy Valve kit - replaceable bags - is what I’m aiming for (if it works)

Would the SonG adapter be a suitable replacement for the 14/18 F Glass adapter?
Now I get it.

Note: I don't use the bags, prefer adding moisture with a hydratube onto the adapter----smooth and cool, even at 445F
I do not know if this piece will "open" the flanges in the EZ valve bag and fit snug.
I am looking for mine and am having an issue locating it, but I will continue the search.

I no longer have the SonG piece... I gave it as a gift to a Volcano owner...
so I can not measure and test it now. I will see them sooner or later, so I made note to ask.

No Problem. Really just trying to decide which Volcano valve to purchase. Looks like both could be used. Does anyone have a few pros and cons that lead to an obvious choice?

When you say "Valve" it causes a bit of a mixup.
You can use an EZ Valve Balloon and mouthpiece with the Herbalizer Chamber....
BUT you can use the Solid Valve in place of the Herbalizer Chamber with some adaptation (please read back in the thread).
BUT.. the EZ Valve (the valve itself) can not be used in any form with the Herbalizer.
The volcano has two types of "Valve" (chamber)

Bowls and Filling Chambers, Valves and Mouthpieces, it's all clear as vapor now! Herbie bowl + Volcano EZ valve balloon and mouthpiece for next round of balloon investment.

@Vitolo if the SonG doesn’t work on its own as you suspect, you should see if coupling it with your 14mm M to 18mm F works best. (SonG + GonG + EZ valve bag)

Hopefully the SonG will be snug enough, But if not, I don’t mind getting both to be able to use the ‘cano bags

Some guy has refurb Herbalizers "directly from the factory" up for sale on eBay for 299. I messaged him asking if he'd sell me one for half price since they're out of business lol.

It's not the first time he's had them up....I think they were $250 before possibly? He said he would ship to Canada, and when I asked if it had a warranty, I heard nothing back!

Important: Before we ship out the unit we perform a full checkup and calibration. These refurbished units are coming directly from Herbalizer, not a third party. You can always verify by contacting Herbalizer customer service.

Told me he's "firm with his price"

It's the same guy with the repair site who posted here before who's selling them.

@Vitolo i thought you meant that you’d ask your friend if you could use it to measure and test it out, not that you’d ask if it’d work with the easy valve bags.

@Vicki ,
Herbalizer just sorta quietly turned out the lights and packed it in.
They gave no real notice, just slinked away into the night :(

It is a shame as it's a great unit and there was great potential to innovate further, like a smaller desktop or a halogen portable.

No one "in the know" has told their story but speculation included a patent infringement lawsuit from S & B (rat bastards).
WTF, does Herbie really infringe on the Volcano---other than they each have a fan and can blow bags. Some thought they folded rather than fight the giant in court :( :(

It sucks. Herbie was/is/will be until it dies---my #2 vape after the timeless #1 miniVAP.

@Vitolo when was the Herbalizer discontinued? I still have the original unit you helped me get! :)
It seems like it has been over a year.
I was most happy to help you with that, and mine still works great, since 2013... marked as number 504. (I actually had the BETA model in 2012.. hand painted, and marked as #3).

@Vitolo i thought you meant that you’d ask your friend if you could use it to measure and test it out, not that you’d ask if it’d work with the easy valve bags.
A simple misunderstanding.
I have a full schedule, and am in contact with many.
I may not see this patient for many months.
If I do get a chance to speak, I will ask if I can use the SonG I gave them.

I recall some members had luck with the actual valve of the solid valve.
I no longer have the solid valve, so I can not test it...
I just did a session, using the Herbalizer chamber, and filled the EZ Valve bag, by leaving the lip part on the bag set-up, and holding the hole against the Herbie chamber, manually. That worked OK.

I heard that if you pull the plastic part out of the white tube, and leave that in the bowl, it will work with the easy valve.

Wow, am I ever glad that I just got my unit refurbished before they disappeared.

The Herbalizer has a sad story for being such a great vape. First Josh got kicked out in a hostile take over then the people who did the deed couldn't keep the momentum going.

Wow. Thanks for the clarification. That really blows. :(

I just realized, if we have a problem, we are now SOL, aren’t we? My Herbalizer has been packed away for a couple years. I’m almost afraid to use it now. :(

Too lazy to read some of this but I have my original Herbie too ... for like 5 years now ....

I use the solid valve all the time....much better.
People have melted the plastic around the fan if they used the volcano filling chamber too... but I just use the Herbie bowl.

You could however use the volcano filling chamber (this way you dont have to hold the valve down while fillibg) but you need to use the yellow o-ring around the fan.... also works well

Almost there...

Mine was also packed away for a few years and when I fired her up, the one fan started rattling away... Still works though, just a noisy fan.

I guess with nobody able to do guaranteed repairs it is a hopeless case...
I may open her up one day and see if it is something that I can easily replace.

Could you post a pic (best) or give a detailed description of how to use the solid valve?? Thanks
And do you then use with Volcano solid valve bags?
Can solid valve be used with Herbie bags, with what adapter?

Hi,
I’m wondering, Why would you say this?
I spoke with the guy running this site. He seems legitimate and I’m about to send him my herbalizer.

He might actually be the only person who can help the loads of people who have broken machines.

I’ll report back with my experience.

Please do!! if all goes well for you, I will send mine in for a much needed tuneup!
Problem is, mine is one of the first 50 units released and it is kind of special to me.
Guess I should get it fixed up then!
