Volute of Vapor
Admittedly I do not own an HA, but owing an Herbalizer I'd have to say the following.
The Herbalizer is already a fairly small unit, IMO an additional external fan would complicate the design rather than simplify. That's just my .
I'm assuming by "the form factor is not really reliable" you are referring to the lid of the unit? As many people have stated the lid is a little lacking in quality compared to the rest of the unit. However I wouldn't let that deter you from making a purchase if you were considering it. It really doesn't affect the function of the unit. I don't think the lid would break very easily, you would have to treat it very poorly. I am pretty sure it could sustain a decent fall without being damaged. In any case I hope nobody is treating a $700+ vaporizer in a way that would easily break it. After all many units have glass parts and are equally if not more fragile, not to mention many people handle glass bubblers etc on a regular basis.
These are just my thoughts, you clearly have way more experience with vaporizers. I am definitely jealous of that list in your signature!
Yes, I get a severe form of VAS, in fact some changements in my life habits make to buy vapes is cheaper than my old addiction(s)! it's a way to save my health and my brain cause I never was a compulsive customer of manufactured products!
Maybe I didn't used the right word, when I told you it's not reliable I want to say it's not easy to handle, inverted or not, you need tubing and connector to use it with a WT and i think it need lot of space on a desk...
I think they would get a different design than others desktop vapes (EQ, HA, Cloud, log vapes all the same form factor) but they lost some functiunnal aspects...
