The Herbalizer

I have no issues with the balloons when using a bit of ssv tubing to fill. I am still on my first balloon and my only complaint is that it's pretty sticky when first used cold so I have to baby it a bit, but on the second fill no problemo. For me, it's the most efficient way to use herbie; no leaks yet, and the valve works great.

Here are the images of my reclaim from inside the whip.

After first cutting the whip I was surprised to even see this looking inside.

This came out after the first 2 scoops with my scissors.

And this was my final haul, I am pretty amazed. It is probably a gram or so.

How long had you been using that whip?

I didn't cut my house in half because my Herbie setup is low, and it would be too short. I held the whip up to a light and they inside looked like @Skeena s whip.

Took less than an oz of 190 proof grain alcohol, funneled it into the hose, shook and pinched the dark spots of oil until it was all dissolved then filtered through coffee filter. Ended up with some pretty nice tincture and my whip is now clean. Need only a few mL s in a drink to feel it.

I love my herbie, I also have to agree on the leaking bag. I've been through 16 bags, also one of the first to get herbie. The bags leak, the seal leaks and bags dirty and degrade fast. Right now my volcano is the only thing providing me with a pleasurable vape experience. Still love the herbie, but tired of watching my vapor escape. Until I decide to fiddle with SSV tubing my herbie sits idle. The whip is awesome, I'm just a fan of bags.

I was at the tail end of the first pre-order batch, it's weird how polarized some of our bag experiences can be. The only time vapor escapes for me is when I'm first filling a used bag, and it sticks together if I don't actively separate the (in)sides from each other which takes away any resistance to the vapor filling it. After that part, it's smooth sailing and no babysitting the next fill if it's within a few hours of the previous one.

Pro tip: herbie uses a standard power cable, like this. I discovered I can use one from an old camera, or the long, heavy-duty one from my Nord keyboard. So check around the house, you might already have a spare herbie cable!!!

Is this what everyone's looks like? See how there is a little piece if metal missing? It's not a full even ring. Are all of yours the same or is mine defective and chipped a bit or something?

I've had my herbalizer a short bit now, and its a very different experience than my portables.

Should I be expecting much in the way of vapor without the fan assist? Using the whip tubing I feel like I get far smaller amounts of vapor with the herbalizer than I do with my Ascent, Haze, or Flowermate.

I may be fudging up somewhere in the process because this is my first desktop.

I don't use very big loads of material anymore because it seemed like when I packed a fuller load I got worse performance.

Its also very annoying that my whip tubing does not always like to stay connected properly into the bowl.

I just finished watching The Vape Critic's review of the herbalizer again, which was a big factor in my purchase. The amount of draw this guy gets at 360 through the whip without fan assist is far and away greater than what I am getting. I just don't get it. I feel like something is wrong somewhere. It very well could be operator error, but my vapor production just seems weak and I'm not sure where I'm goofing up if indeed it is my err.

The unit I have is off the latest Massdrop, it is the limited edition model.

So I'm thinking about purchasing a herbie. The hefty price makes me uneasy and I want to be sure before buying. I currently own the Evo and I love big cloudy thick delicious tasting clouds while at the same time.conserving herb. Also have the Enano which is probably where conserving material came from. Anyways could a member maybe post a video displaying how thick of clouds the herbie is capable of making ? Could .1 do this ? Thanks eveRhone in advance the herbie looks very intriguing.

the thickness of your clouds depends on the dankness of your herbs IME. I have this shit called pink kush atm, and it makes really great clouds. much better than the other stuff I have. the herbie works just as well as the evo, but it remains tasty for longer than it does in my evo.

I was really surprised. I thought the evo was the pinnacle of vapor technology, but it turns out the herbie suits me even better!

What about efficiency? How much material does it take to get those tasty clouds?

Also I use concentrates a good bit how does theherbie handle these and is the efficiency there ? Not trying to sound like a broken record here haha

It is not suppossed to be "connected'.
It is meant to just lightly sit in there.

The bud needs to be of high quality to get thick vapor... and also, it must be primed first.
360º won't give huge clouds until you get the load going.
A couple of hits at 400, then try lowering it to 360º for thicker vapor at lower temps...
or else just be patient and do a number of hits to get your herb really cranking!

When I vaped the peppermint that came with the herbalizer, the vapor was ridiculously thin and barely visible if at all (I used fan and whip and even went all the way up in temperature). Added some Feelin' Fine (MFLB blend)... A little more, still exceedingly light almost invisible. Only saw any vapor upon adding White Sage (was kinda blue-ish and even that could've been more). I did get pretty dark ABV.

So my question... Do these vaporizables generally produce light vapor? Will I see more dense volumes of vapor with MJ flowers? (I did read above where another member mentioned that better quality bud = thicker clouds so I'm guessing bud on the whole = thicker clouds than the peppermint and the sage... haven't tried any yet cause I trying to keep it thc free for traveling purposes)

Thanks in advance... Really hope I didn't receive a dud unit as I'm traveling back home tomorrow night.

NB. However like vape4doc said... I did feel a slight effect from the sage so I'm guessing the MJ should be successful in effect even if no real clouds... Just wanna make sure my unit is OK :/
