This makes me sad.
This sucks..i love this vape..now i dont wanna use it but my lifetime warranty isnt worth shit.
Man that’s kind of a bummer.. I love my hammers but they definitely don’t get used in a routine. Good luck to the Hammer team in whatever they pursue!
@VAPEHUNTER when I saw this post, my reaction was, “god bless” and I’m not religious.
Same here, maybe have Ed make me a second wooden stem if he can get around to it.I'm thinking I'll end up ordering a backup
I've removed the thread prefix. Do we know if he's just selling out his existing stock, or is he manufacturing new ones still?I wonder if we should have a Mod take this off the "Discontinued" list?
I’ll askI've removed the thread prefix. Do we know if he's just selling out his existing stock, or is he manufacturing new ones still?
Damn! That's a good question.I've removed the thread prefix. Do we know if he's just selling out his existing stock, or is he manufacturing new ones still?
Nice, thanks Kid.I’ll ask

No, I would not say that. IMO they are entirely different. One is an under powered conduction vape, basically incapable of combustion. The other is a convection vape with virtually unlimited power on tap. If you use an aggressive technique (as many do) you ride the fine line of combustion. So would those of you who own this say it is similar technique wise to the MFLB? I am okay with that as I love my MFLB. But this would be better on a hike. Would you suggest just one or get two?
What kind of butane should I get? Vector?
I notice a night and day performance difference from premium tane and low quality. I use low quality for my lighters but the Hammer gets the premium sauce.Any sort you want, it's by no means critical. The basic lighter used here (and on lots of other products) is designed to run on 'crude Third World junk'. High purity gas is a waste, unlike some units like Iolite (where you have no control valve to tweak to adjust for minor issues, or making BHO (where you might consume impurities).
I keep a can or two of 'the good stuff' (Vector) for the Iolites and then use the cheapest stuff that can call itself Butane from local Smoke Shops of chain stores at half that price or less in everything else. Hammer is 'indirectly heated' (the fire heats the outside of the tube you draw air through the inside, there's a SS wall between them).
Premium fuel is wasted but OK, the cheap stuff works just as well. And is easier to get. Your call.

It really is ! Still at 40 right ?I had forgotten about this one. @VAPEHUNTER had let me try his a couple months ago.
At it's current price point it is almost in the impulse buy catagory. I guess what that means is, I don't need another fucking vaporizer yet I impulsively bought this one today.
Please hammer don’t hurt himAll this Hammer talk....Ok. I’m gonna go pull my hammer, Gallagher is what I like to call him, out of the Vape locker.
IT’S HAMMER TIME!!!
Now you got me singing Maxwell's silver hammer for some reasonPlease hammer don’t hurt him
