Hi I've had my hammer for a long time it's a great little vape, it takes a little time but when you nail the technique you will love it for sure ..

Whats the taste like in your experience compared to other vapes?

You get beautiful clouds off it. It hits hard and is harsh (in a good way) a bit like smoking but tastes really good. You get a lot of bang for your buck that's for sure.. it's not like say the air or solo where you gotta sip it, this thing just hits so hard. Damn I want one now, shame I'm at work

Probably solo for taste but it doesn't hit that hard compared to the hammer. My favorite vape I've used is probably the plenty because it hits so hard and harsh I suppose that's my preference..

See this is where get confused, alot of people are saying the Solo taste amazing but many are saying the Lotus and Hammer taste better then the Solo because they are pure convection where as the solo is a hybrid and roast your herbs whilst it is in there, where as the Hammer and Lotus only warm your air when you heat it, im intrested in all three, im not a cloud chaser im a flavor chaser i just want the best tasting one :lol:

Ok I guess I am a cloud chaser harsher the better, my Mrs is the opposite. I missed the lsv off my list that's an amazing vape and probs my 2nd favorite..
I will have a hit from the hammer when I get back home and I'll note the taste compared to my current DD (da Buddha) and the air, although the cheese i got would taste fantastic with all methods

Below is a post by @Philreal187 showing how to adjust the flame.

I wanted to share the tuning process with everyone here so if your light isn't heating up right be very care when tuning it will cause damage to the unit and I bet it might even effect the warranty so this is just to help anyone who might need a slight tuning just be smart about it and take your time.

First part is hold the hammer so the big end is facing the roof and the lighter trigger is facing the floor.

Next turn the heating dial all the way up to the plus sign on the right.

If you look close there is a small gear right below the thumb pad.

What you want to do is carefully place the tip of the nail in the last notch to the left of the thumb pad.

Then gently push it right towards the thumb pad.

The gear will want to slid just a little notch then stop so you must use a soft touch to get it to move.

Finally test it and see how it turned out.

To get my hammer back in turn it only took about 3 notches to slid and now it works great. If you find that your lighter just isn't heating quite up to par you now know how to make minor adjustments to the tuning. PLEASE just be careful and don't over tune it can melt or even catch the hammer on fire.

Just stumbled over this and wanted to add it to my collection, looks like it could be a way to quickly vape in situations where using the torch and Vapcap is just too obvious. Problem is I also can't add anything to the cart and no other online store has stock or ships to Australia.:bang:

Vapefiend said they would have stock in a week or so though...

It depends what you mean by "too obvious."

IMO the Hammer's look was not nearly as discrete as a vapcap. I found its unusual form factor and function draws attention and questions from those nearby. My Omnivap looks like a cig from a distance and rarely gets a notice.

The torch on the Hammer is also a bit loud if you were thinking it might be a discrete movie theater option...

Where I did find the Hammer excelled over the VapCap was that the Hammer is simple and less fiddley. The Vapcap is easy to use and master, but does require some dexterity (rolling the cap under the flame, fluting the carb hole) and the VapCap requires two hands. The Hammer just requires you mash the trigger, wait and inhale- and it can be a one handed operation.
