Does anyone know where I might be able to get one of the little butane fill valves that the hammer uses? Mine is either clogged or broken but either way it doesn't let butane through it.

Hey guys picked up a hammer and i love it. I knew the learning curve was rough with this guy. Took 3 stems to get the hang of it and now itshuge rips on command.

Efficient and extremely portable. Hyped to bring it out and about.

The only thing that urks me is the butane...ive read about the airpaths being separate but i feel like theres gotta be some downside to all the butane being used. i dont taste it so I wanna believe its perfectly healthy but im skeptical. Besides that it rips like a beast on command, really awesome little tool

Herbalizer SqueezeValve bags, I would much prefer to use the 14mm gong for the Hammer but mine broke recently.
Herbalaire HO Pump, 5/16" ID x 7/16" OD Silcon Tubing, 1/4" ID x 3/8" OD Silcon Tubing, Underdog thin tubing.
I used my Infinity base as a stand with a paperclip to hold it in place. Also a screen inside the Hammer as a just in case.
The only thing we really need is a stand, if only @Ratchett also had a Hammer.

So I'm going to try the bags today with the hammer. It's going to be very much a DIY affair. Do you see any reason why a cheap fish tank pump wouldn't work? http://www.3ch.co.uk/aeration-kit-1-outlet.html something like this.

I'm not too worried about holding everything but if this is as good as it looks in your video then I'll more than likely buy a stand.

I'll be trying DIY bags from turkey bags and I'll also be using the lock on stems as I don't have my WonG yet.

I tried any 5 different pumps, flavor is one reason I don't use the other pumps anymore, speed is the second.

But they work.

There is a user here who makes great Hammer stands. I don't like using Hammer stems for bags it's awkward. UD glass stem can fit snug and holds bags better. Good luck on your diy adventure.

Never will get tiredly this vape. So useful from being able to do dabs and herb at te same time,to coming I handy with no electricity.

Hey guys i got a hammer from a fellow fcer this week. It is giving huge hits and not cpmbusting but the taste is like combustion. And i see the hammer smoking quite noticibly after each hit. Is this normal?

No, is there gunk inside the heat exchanger? Clean the skinny part with a skinny toothpick like @paytonpenn you can also dip a q tip in iso and clean the heat port.

A user on Reddit mentioned folding some aluminum foil to clean it.

I personally have gone through over 6 grams of oil these last two months and haven't had to clean it. But I definitely need to make some videos, so maybe tonight.

@420democrat Sounds like you're overheating it, is the smoke coming from the gasket or the stem because you didn't clear it?

What's it taste like without herb but still heated?

It certainly was gunk inbetween the two openinings. I uaed floss a toothpick and 2 iso qtips. It is now clean going to heat it again and gice it one more cleaning than ill post back. Im stoked to try this again. Been playing with my esv today too

Does your hammer work on the lowest setting when the butane is only half full? (Which is after one and half bowls for me).

If I turn the notches any higher the flame will blow itself out.

Also anyone recommend a screen-less over a screened stem? The price point is kinda steep for me

Ok i got it nice and shiny clean with no smell burned out all the butane and filled with some vector. All i can say is wow this thing is amazing, I was super stoked for my esv and not so much for this bad boy but i was wrong. It out clouds my ff with ease and is useing less then half of the material and my gf are amazed at the huge hits we get from such tiny amounts of green. Going to buy a gong for the hammer this week. My only concern now is that it gets very hot to the touch after 4-5 hits, Should I not be preheating for 20 seconds each hit? I have the flame on the lowest setting possible. I fear combustion

I have been searching this thread a bit but admit I have not read it all so forgive if this has been asked and answered.

How does the hammer perform when it's cold out side? I read the altitude posts but with a family, I have to got to the unheated shop to medicate in the winter (6 months here) and all my butane torches and lighters are problematic in colder temps, so this is a major concern for me.

I'd like to hear how it works with concetrates like oils waxes and shatter ext.(I read the clogging posts here) Their website has a link to "duel functions, now equipped for duel use with concentrates" but the link just goes to the buy it page with no mention of concentrates that I can see?

I have an old ez vape for herbs but honestly it never really did it for me. Maybe i was doing something wrong but I always got wispy hits. This hammer is tempting me to give herb vaping another chance..

Well you toped the device allegedly capable of doing high altitude.

At first for your pbs of lighter in cold weather, like all torch lighter the temperature of the tank will make the flow of gas. Put the tank under the armpit a few moment to warm it. Then the gas will flow easily.

Then there is the natural setting from the hammer, user accessible from the outside by sliding the red disk. Be carefull not to unmount these two disks as it opens the valve wide. The more you go up, the less oxygen there is so more gas flow you need.

I did not performed the hammer at 8000m high but i agree it will function with enough butane in the tank.

Getting a Underdog to get an Underdog is a great idea, I'm not sure about using the glass UD stems with the hammer but off hand don't think they fit.

Whats wrong with getting Hammer stems for your Hammer?

I've read that they fit, but feel like thick ones might not. Recently both of my stems shattered so no hammer time.

And if I buy hammer stems its almost 20 for two lock ons, in my mind I might as well buy a screenless stem or a gong stem for about 40 because of shipping. And my logic here is I can get $40 off my UD purchase because it comes with four stems.

I think I just want a plug in vape because I went ahead and bought it, even though I know I don't need it since the hammer can do the same job and paytonpenn has the proof! I'd honestly be fine with just my mflb, it's just a little gunked up over the years

If you get an MFLB draw whip you'll be able to connect your UD accessories with your Hamdog. Thick silicone stems will be too wide to use NonGs I just just a bit of tubing on the SS Tip and have it extend enough that I can slip the Hammer's heat port in there.
