Whaddaya mean by sketchy?
They know what consumers want & they clearly put thought behind this video. Cloud shot against a black background. Showing the changed state of herb from fresh to abv.
Next, they clearly do choppy editing throughout. Slowed frame at the first hand shot to lengthen time for the narrative, a quick cut when they're first loading. The piece of paper they toss the abv on to was not on the table but comes from an angle where we should have seen it.
Then there's the weirdness of the mouth movement both before and after the hit.
We can assume from the cuts that this isn't an entire shot, but is made to look like one. Why, then, would they not edit the part where he swears? It's the weirdest thing about the video in that the entire time they try to seem professional. They already edit audio. I'm largely convinced that they're just laying the narrative track over footage in post, judging by the timing of the narrative and a few hand gestures that don't sync well. Why not edit his little post hit exclamation with the brown noise of the background?
The mouth movement might be his reaction to a head rush, but IME, and I've introduced many people to vapor, vapor hits take time to settle on you. I find the mouth movement particularly odd right before he takes the hit. His mouth is angled behind the hoodie, & it's just his mouth. Without moving his head, his mouth pokes out from the hoodie to take the hit. It's as if, before he takes the hit, his mouth is sideways.
I know we've already covered the whole, "maybe he's taking a hit of something else and blowing that out," theory. But considering that this video has been edited, that the team is in possession of an Arizer V-Tower, and especially considering the mouth movement and the addition of the paper out of camera from the left, I think we've made that theory stronger.
That's not to say I'm not gunning for this device. A literal pen vape made by aerospace engineers that I can walk around with to hit both herb and eo with the switch of the tip? Awesome. But the video seems very misleading.
