Yep, GH is now a big turd in my book. Rather than email me back, they just updated my invoice to MARCH now. Just a month ago, they told me via email that they are still shooting for January.
So two weeks ago, I sent two emails asking them if it was still on for January. No response, then, oh lookie, they changed the date again to March.

I don't even care if this product is awesome anymore. They get the Big Turd Award for 2016. They bloweth greatly.

And the good thing about this is that I don't miss having it because Mr. Pax is, as always, the most reliable and easy thing I've ever used.

Did you notice every time you emailed them and asked "When is my GH shipping" all they did was tell you the exact same info that was on their website? Can you imagine how frustrating it would be to get this same question over and over again? At some point, though it is not great CS they decided that there would be no benefit to answering emails with the same question that has already been answered.

I bet if you tried the GH, you would immediately miss it compared with a PAX(1?).

I don't know about your Pax, but mine has draw resistance like it was really designed to train Vietnamese street walkers! I can't stand using it after trying other vapes.

Off-topic, but have you tried widening the hole in the top of the mouthpiece? There's a limited amount of airflow of course, based on the design, but it does help a bit.

Just checked, and its another new month!

At least my January'15 ss order is saying February, but my April two color Ti order is saying March... Kinda bullshit at this point but whatever, gonna have to mail my brother his Ti or something I guess... Hope his works well!

Something soon? It's getting hard to be excited honesty, and I'm someone who always believed in them and the technology at least

EDIT: aaaaaaaaand my brother just wants a refund for his now, somebody else just got a bit closer to their Hopper!

Just to follow up for anyone who cares, got in touch with GHL today and had a prompt reply that apparently my color Ti units will indeed ship in February with my SS unit despite the estimate (so they are truly mere estimates)

However my brother still wanted the refund for his Dark Grey Ti in the end so they processed that instantly without issue. I'm sure he'll probably end up buying one at full price months down the line after he's used mine...

However in the meantime he is taking the brand new Firefly I have since they already know and like it, and have an xmax v2 pro which can be used for stealth situations out and about

This is killing me.... it's cleared customs and will be in my hands today or tomorrow, just in time for an epic testing session this weekend with @lazylathe!

Just tried the goboof alfa....once...and it's already on the chopping block! From what I understand the Alfa is similar to the Pax2.....conduction. No comparison to the GH IMO.

Excited for you @biohacker! You seemed to love the GH even when it wasn't working at 100% capacity, can't wait to get your review on a fully functioning unit. Mine should be arriving at some point next week and I cannot stop obsessively checking the tracking on it haha.

You and I both! It says it's in my city, but i'm just waiting for the "out for delivery" update! lol

I absolutely lost my marbles when I received it, I felt SO lucky to have one in my hands, and marvelled at its beauty. Functionally, since it was defective I had mixed emotions, but I was lucky enough to have a few amazing experiences, and lucky enough to have captured one on video (posted in official GH thread) that put such a huge smile on my face because I could see the potential.

My biggest let down has not been my own experience of a DOA unit, but all of the reports i've been reading about multiple unit failures, etc. but i'm not letting it get to me. I'm giving the GH one real shot...and if it's man down (again) i'll just wait for the retail release.

I'm putting the GH in the same category as the Crafty right now.... best portable out there IMHO, but with a very high defect rate that I have to choose to accept or move on.

Hopefully my next post is a proper review! Stay patient my friend!

Wife is home too so it will be good to get the perspectives from both high temp vaping as well as her ultra low temp vaping! Stoked! Turnaround time was pretty fast!

I think I followed correctly, but to clarify.... their current estimated shipping date says March or April (if you ordered today)? Surely no one believes that? That's laughable. They have a year + of preorders to fulfill. Maybe they mean March or April of 2017. That's more realistic.

So I was having a hard time deciding whether to switch my green hopper to a blue hopper or to just stick with the green. The inner struggle was just too much to bear so I said fuck it and doubled down and bought a second hopper. We will see whether or not I will regret this decision in the next few weeks when I (hopefully) get my mean green vaping machine. And hopefully my new blue dejá vu will be just as awesome. Anyway, I just wanted to say that and beg the vaping gods on bended knee that my renewed excitement isn't misplaced. I also wanted to put up a response I received from Caroline a few days ago. I asked whether I should still expect delivery in February.

I don't know what the turnaround between address and shipping confirmations will be for pre-orders but fingers crossed for quick.

Good luck to a speedy and issue free delivery to all those (like me) still playing the waiting game. And to those backers who have their's and are enjoying them, here is to not having to fill out a warranty claim anytime soon.

I don't think they're lying, I'm just using historical data. Like you said, previous user experience leads me to think differently. Love your optimism. Keep it up!

Although I picked Duke's luggage, among the other super weapons of his , my order status says March '16. I would prefer to see April or even May'16 rather than just sit with all my impatience that I will find inside me and wait for it after March. optimism is a powerful thing! everybody should send out positive wibes to HopperLabs. energy of thoughts make reality. i really believe that. because a law of attraction have worker well for me my whole life.

Their last update from a few days ago, for all the usual rah rah bluster about all their improvements and new equipment, ends up repeating the 75 min/hopper figure. It's possible they may someday get faster than that, of course.

We don't know how many preorders there are, or how many more they get every day. We do know that as of right now, zero have been shipped. And I'm sure we will be finding out here if people's estimates are hit or missed. I'm highly dubious whether someone ordering today will truly receive one in April 2016 as they claim. I'd be a Guinea pig myself, but am waiting to find out how my warranty process plays out before digging in any deeper with this company.

(My wife and I both came pretty close to punching people who read "The Secret" after our son had brain tumors- I don't really want to hear how my good vibes can magically fix everything. I'm sure millions of starving kids, war refugees, rape survivors, cancer victims should have just been more optimistic and their lives would have been great!)

@DirtD1V3R nice choice with the blue Hopper, I think you made the right decision. I've been eyeing that model ever since I started following @BuzzDanklin on Instagram. May switch my regular titanium preorder to a blue one when the time comes. Who knows maybe I'll just do the same as you and get both haha.
