are you sure that you can add one more unit to your pre-order? backers could do that, but pre-orderers? very hope that not. that would be extremely unfair for those who ordered today. why would they have to wait longer because you decided to have one more?

I have no idea, but DirtD1V3R said he just added one to his pre-order so I was going based on that example.
I personally don't think that allowing backers or pre-orderers to add to their existing orders is a wise business decision, but Hopper Labs sets the rules, not the customers, so they're the only ones you can blame.

but, if this is indeed possible then i will order 10 Hoppers to sell them on eBay for $500. so other customers can enjoy more waiting. why not? will write en e-mail and ask bout this.

They did a small price increase in the summer. There has to be further price increases in the future.

I just ordered a blue. Not sure if it will be added to my existing order or if it will come at the end of the line. Don't really care either.
My response to "why not" is that just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD. I personally think that no one should of had the availability to add to their order, including backers for estimates sake, but it is up to GH to dictate the terms of service. Also, I think that those good vibes that you were speaking about earlier would not be in your favor if you added 10 to sell at an inflated price without thinking of others who have been waiting just like you have been. At the end of the day it is your choice to do it and their choice to allow it or not, but I don't think I would have a fuck the others waiting attitude about it because again those good vibes can be a fickle bitch.

Could be a scam. If the price were a little lower I might get one just for shits and giggles. Would be unfortunate if the Chinese beat them to mass production........Without issues.

i bet it is a Chinese fake product. no way you can get 50 legit Hoppers.
some time ago i bought chinese Arizer Solo out of curiosity. it worked well for 2 months with no problem, then its electronics went mad. temperature 7 is at 2nd level now. if i go higher- combustion happens. they included EasyFlow like bubblers instead of glass stems. happy about that though. but no wild flower included
so yeah- never trust Chinese. they make replicas not real product.
p.s. i guess this also means dee end of eBay Hopper purchasing. from now on you can easily buy a Chinese crap for a $500, instead of 'The King' himself.

Those are fake listings, anyone can download a picture off google and post a listing on ebay/alibaba/dhgate. The question is how big you can scam someone before your account is suspended.

How? The key IP is made in America - a 3D printed heater. That's something pretty difficult for China to copy when they don't have access to the blueprints or a working copy of the vape. Its going to be pretty hard to reverse engineer it because it was 3D printed

OK. i think those were a scam anyways. but i wouldnt put it past the chinese to stick another similar type of heater in there, they did copy the firefly which is convection, so they have a similar oven to use.
i also wouldnt put it past trevor to start outsourcing the heater parts to china because the production at home was too slow.
but i dont think either of those things happened. just someone trying to make a quick buck off a popular product.

They have the specs for pretty much everything else, and as the post above me said, they wouldn't need to literally copy it, only make something the same size that functions similarly.
And they could of course have a working GH to reverse engineer, as well as people with infinitely more experience than Trevor.

Yes, the offer was made to pre-orders that while you have an open pre-order you could add to your order at the same pre-order price. This was from an email sent on 8/24/15. The email did not clarify if the additional items would ship with your original pre-order or not.

I'm starting to see this as a possible key detail in the matter of 'adding' to an existing order.
I recall the same thing, that even pre-order folks can add to their order, at the pre-order price.
BUT, when will the additional item(s) ship? Maybe these additions are, for backers, being placed at the end of the backers' line and for pre-orders, being placed at the end of the pre-orderers' line. This (along with producing some retail packs) might help explain the apparent long gap/delay in finishing the 'last' of the backers over the past 2 to 3 months -- filling those additions to backers' orders?
Anyone here (backers) receive their additional piece yet, like with their original? or was it very recent? Anyone have thoughts about this theory?

I preordered Jan 21 with a March shipping date and I just recently upgraded to a titanium or would like to haven't heard back yet. That would be very little wait. I check my order on the website but it doesn't show the shipping just the price. I can only see my shipping estimate on the invoice, I don't know how accurate that is.

I added a TI unit when I received my shipping confirmation last summer (early bird backer). It didn't get shipped with my early bird unit and I'm still waiting for it. My invoice has now been updated to shipping in Feb. 2016 (after being August, then September, then October, then November 2015). I'm not holding my breath waiting or expecting it to ship soon however - based on their track record. I also wouldn't want to bump others who have been waiting before me.

I wonder what lucky stores will have retail packs. And how warranty will be done (I assume a warranty card or registration will need to be done by the purchaser). I also wonder about price point (probably pretty high due to demand), though some people will get lucky in the stores.
