Given the reliability issues with early units I wouldnt recommend the GH as anyone's only vape. At least until the reliability improves which it ultimately should.

I say get an air or even a solo which will be your reliable, primarily at home vape. They will last forever. Then wait for the GH and use that as your on the go vape. You can probably get a solo and a GH for the price of a crafty.

Yeah I'm actually just thinking about keeping my place in the GH queue but now ordering a much cheaper vape to tie me over, under £100. There are lots of choices on Puffitup but not so many in the UK.

Address confirmation came in last night! I emailed them to add a battery and mouthpiece cover, upgrade to priority shipping, and to ask if it would be possible to change to a blue unit without delaying delivery (I wish I knew more about anodization when I first backed). Haven't heard back yet, but I'm just happy to know that I'm FINALLY getting my hopper! I don't trust that it will work when I get it, but at least I'm getting it soon (I hope)!

Mine came about 45 min ago...at long last! Unpacked it and took the first hit off the Ti unit. I ordered extra batteries, and I was happily surprised to see that when I popped them in the Nitecore that they were all already 100% charged. I'll probably post impressions later on the main GH thread, but one first impression is this thing is smaller and lighter than what I had expected. That's mostly a good thing.

Nope, I didn't pay for the shipping upgrade. As I've already paid 20$ for the international shipping and will have custom taxes. I'm delivered in Belgium so no suspens on which of us will get his first.

Just that the process is unlikely to result in the sort of bright green (or red) hoppers shown on the original campaign page.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve sent address confirmation emails to every backer. If you think you have not received an address confirmation, please check your spam folder before contacting us. We are working to ship the very last backer Grasshoppers now.
Hopper production is running smoothly and we expect to have the rest of the backer units out by the end of January. Our entire team has worked tirelessly to get these units out, eliminate user-reported problems and improve the design during each production cycle. With every device handmade here in the U.S., we’ve been able to rapidly iterate on the design and manufacturing processes. This has resulted in increased shipping volume and drastically reduced device issues.
Over the last couple of months we’ve gone from shipping just a few units per day to over 100. We’ve now shipped over 3000 Hoppers and are happy to see so many people enjoying them. There is little more satisfying than thinking about how many of you might be using your Hopper on any given Friday night.
The various accessories offered during the campaign are being prototyped and we’re working to get these to you as soon as possible. We will follow up with our progress in future updates.

I preordered with an estimate of December. Sent them an email and was told it would be January. Guess that was inaccurate too. I don't mind waiting but their lack of accurate estimations borders on unethical in my opinion.

You're forgetting about replacing failed units. We still don't know how high the failure rates could have been.

For every one new backer they added, they could have been shipping 10 replacements to backers they'd previously shipped to.

@Ratchett we know that at one point they claimed the failure rate was 5%, down from 10%. But of course we don't really know any of the numbers for sure.
Just pointing out a continuing pattern of nonsense in their predictions....

I been MIA due to being homeless for a couple months so I never even sent it in, they told me if I even used it with weed once they would not fix or replace it, now remember mine came looking used(Multiple scratches/scrapes) I still have it how it came in box, spotless cleaned, you would not know it was used once, anyways it doesn't feel safe to use due to the backend getting hot, this should not happen, I know I use E-cigs.

Not that I have a use for it, don't know anyone in Kingston NY where I am right now...
