otherwise, @midgetsanchez the new hopper is behaving and functioning well? No other issues? Are you privy to any new info regarding your malfunctioning unit?

As someone who has a new unit, I can tell you the "o-gassing" is not something to be worried about. Really- it takes just a few cycles to clear and then stops, and it doesn't smell like anything dangerous. They told me it was finger oils on the heating element from assembly which I believe. I taste nothing but pure herb when I use it.

If it was a wire melting or something worse, the "gassing" would probably be continuous.

I think the delay is just from making sure parts are within tolerance as they scale up - I also remember reading that their sintered-heating element manufacturer was a bottleneck at some point.

can you tell the difference between your two GH?

I preordered December 27th 2014 and my April 2015 estimated ship date has turned into a July 2015 estimated ship date. I also sent Trevor an email about the new tracking system that they failed to address even though they implied in the last update that we would get more info in this update. Also, asked him how many units would be shipping beween now and the end of June. I guess we will see what he says. I sent it before the updated shipping info on the invoices but I'm still interested in what his response will be. I'm expecting some grade A vague language jujitsu.

They clearly are misleading everyone and stalling, it's starting to get on my nerves. I sat quiet for a long time and never once emailed Trevor because I felt his time is better spent working on hoppers than answering emails but they're email is probably going to get blasted soon with all the pissed off customers. Simply put you have my money, you tell me the truth especially if you expect to ever get any more of it if they come out of this alive and as a functioning company.

I emailed them as well asking how many units are being shipped from now til the end of june. They have thee absolute worst style of answering questions and their writing style still amazes me how they are able to pull off the acrobatics they do. Even when they try and say they are being direct to the point you can see the hamster doing cartwheels inside their brains.

Being that mine says July now and I was a backer I doubt you'll get it in August. My hopes aren't too high since they bumped me back to July instead of June. Does anyone have June or is this obviously just another way of allowing us to wait another month to end up waiting another month.

You're being silly if you think they can spout out 3000 units in a single month.

That part about it never ending.. Yeah. That's how I'm feeling now. Especially since Trevor responded with a June date at the latest when I emailed him a week ago. I'm straight up getting pissed at this point. Just tell the customers the truth! If they just said, we have this problem and we're working to fix it, I wouldn't be pissed. Instead they keep acting like everything is going along great, even though they can't meet a single deadline that they put on themselves! And what's with all this talk of GH's getting shipped!?! Has ANYONE actually gotten shipping notifications? The fact that there are 3 known production models out in circulation, and 2 have already gone back for warranty reasons is another issue, but still a worrisome one. My doubts grow bigger every passing day about this company and their ability to fulfill their promises...

It looks like they got the updated shipping estimates on the website now. Mine went from an estimated shipping date of April to an eta of August! I preordered mine early morning on Feb 12th when I got the email from them saying that I could pre-order. U guys should check to see if yours all updated as well.

I'd send him another email including how pissed/upset you are (in a nice way) and how confused you are that a week ago it was end of June the latest... what happened and you understand hiccups but just want to really know what is going on
