i don't understand the idea of 'Holiday backers' getting it before those who joined the fund raising campaign in the first couple days. Where does that come from?

There is no reason to assume Early Birds bought before Holiday Backers. They were just two of the different backer options; one of which (Holiday) promised delivery first: "When we start shipping in February, these people will be the first to receive their Grasshoppers.". The Early Birds had the option to pay more and get it first but they chose to save money instead. Early didn't mean get it early it meant get it cheaper by buying early.

Surely they have built 123 finished products by now.

I would hope so 118 maybe now? Few ppl got them without the charging cable so to expect at least 100 already built and boxed isn't asking for much honestly. Are they having issues actually getting the labels printed and shipped maybe? Shouldnt take longer than like 10 hours to get 100 labels printed


Also their lack of information on every update especially the most important one really pisses me the fuck off

I think this person is confused. Preorders were not available November 2013 or on Indiegogo. If they meant they backed, then an August ship date is very concerning.

I just checked my Estimated Ship Date. It changed today from May to August this evening. Frick. Oh well, hopefully it's a case of conservative estimate that may be fulfilled sooner?
