Thanks for taking the plunge, lol. Thats a pretty decent price for the vape, but I don't love the shipping at almost half the cost of the item. Make sure to let us know what it is!

there are cheaper shipping options but the time frame was not good for my VAS. i chose the more pricey option to be clear.

The Anvil was a welcome addition to my DV family, and think there could also be a place for the Danivape. Willing to interact with this community after all the slings and arrows is a plus in my estimation.

Advice to my young developers. If the product can stand on it's own merits there is no need to piggy back on another's name. You've made the grind ahead unnecessarily more difficult.

I did order this vape so whatever (skin in the game as they say) but i have to say i dont buy or search for my vapes by name (and searching for dynavap wont get you to danivape anyway) but i do look for performance of the vape and customer service/support as my criteria so as long as it performs as advertised and gets me ripped and vapes efficiently im a happy vaper. i dont care what you call it. isnt imitation the best form of flattery? it can only force more and more innovation in the dry herb vape space and god knows we need it. so far my experience with this maker has been positive and even very gracious pricing on orings and screens, so far so good but we will see what this bad boy can do in short order.

I think the point they're making is that it says something when a manufacturer markets its product as its own brand. With this here, ngl this just gives that r/CrappyOffBrands vibe. (Even tho I'm more interested in it than in any og dv.)

I didn't think it was ok to mention other brand names, but yeah, its a blend between the dynavap and anvil. So small like the dynavap, with the heat sink of the anvil. dyna hasn't shown interest in adding mass or upgrading their design, so it's cool to see this.

The differentiation of riding on coattails and simple design evolution is a foggy line. VG could have updated their design, but they didn't so now it's all Novas and Sticky Bricks (which are they themselves a copy/evolution of trihouse (which itself is a design evolution from that cheap bowl topper from the 90s)).

I like the screw on end cap of this that forces air through a set spiral to heat it, vs the bent/poorly sized cap of the DV. I don't like that I have to go through instagram to buy one (had a bad vape experience with this recently).

When there are similar vapes I believe that it is fair game to compare and contrast... when the Anvil came out John was savvy enough to inform us of the differences between the Anvil and the Dynavap. After all this is what all potential buyers are considering. I am not saying that new vapes can't be inspired by past creations, but at least give some credit to the original maker of the product! And for God sake don't name it almost EXACTLY the same. If I were George of Dyanvap I would be tempted to sue Danivape for "passing off".

What Tiny88 is saying is that the name Danivape could under statue be a Trade Mark violation that can be enforced under international law. Companies hire lawyers to trade mark their name globally for good reasons.

Even when one looks beyond the name it's hard to ignore the similarities.

But the "story" behind the name is what put me off the most in all honesty.

Goes on and develops his own butane driven, pen shaped vaporiser with a coppercored oven.
He then names the device after his daughter Anne, as she was his inspiration.

some have already received theirs so its a real product and if you pay via PayPal G&S how can you lose since there is buyer protection, no dirrerent than the classified ads. no electronics or parts to break on this unit and once used it cant be returned no matter where you buy this type of product so i dont see the possibility of a rip off. only a new experience and maybe great so…

Perhaps they’ve changed their policy, but when I asked to pay via PayPal G&S they said Friends and Family only, so I walked away from the purchase.

Not sure but i paid G&S and for the price, if it slaps, its a great deal. 70 bucks doesnt get much of anything decent in dry herb vapes so we shall see how good it is.

I clicked on the imgur image (the one showing the parts) and the "cap" has a "jacket" around it (bit like the FMJ). On that jacket it says BFG (BatteryFreeGanz i presume).
Why not use that as (or in) the name? The 'BFG' or 'DanisaBFG' or "NoBatteringDani" or the "BatFreeDani" (these suggestions kinda suck but my point is that anything other than Danivape would be better(y) actually...)

Can always ask the FC members for suggestions, make a little contest and donate one to whoever comes up with the best name!
Imho the current name will have an impact on the products credibility...

On the imgur page you can scroll and there is a DV next to the DV (see what happened here?? lol) and they look different sized for sure... But might be wrong; looks can deceive and i'm doubting myself now because i see the tip part might not be threaded?

About the name thing...I definitely see what you all are saying about the name being very close. However, I don't really view it as much of a problem or a knock off. It has "vape" in the name, not "vap", vaping id what we are doing so it really seems pretty appropriate and so generic that it shouldn't be allowed to be tied to any one manufacturer. Dani and Dyna are very different both in sound and meaning. Danivap would seem wrong as well as Dynavape.

I have no real problem with that either, don't think it's the best strategy but it's a practice that's widely spread so who am i to judge...
But i don't buy the fact that the similar name is coincidental and unintended, for sure since they look/work almost like an exact copy aswell...
Not necessarily a problem either, but denying it or covering it with that weak explanation of the name is not really cool imo.

I did try with a normal zvs ih and It works, but i didnt use a Glass on the coil or something like this cause of the diameter.

And there is no pieces compatibles with dynavap but the tip have a 510 convection (of you have some kind of 510 stem you can use It) and the stem is the same. You can use a 510 drip tip, so if you have some adapter it can work

We actually made a handmade IH and it works for sure. And DaniVape tip and Dyna stem aren't compatible. For the opposite side if you change the o-ring it may be

DaniVape is a name which could have many explainations. How about if I say Danh is my name in Vietnam and Nina is my girlfriend's name, so the name "Dani" come up from that ? Or "Dani" is actually a real name in Spain so I use DaniVape name to approach Spain's market because Spain could be my target or I have been inspired by Dani Box by Discodes ? C'on everybody know how you guys are gonna react when we use this name and we still took it anyway. Why ?

If we use another totally different name, just like Anvil and you guys will judge it as a knock-off thing anyway because its shape, won't ya ? So why we don't take that name, trigger people's imagination and see how people talk about it, in a judging way or encouraging way it's still fun hehe Real users won't notice much about that stupid name, they will notice about its different mechanism and how we solve some problems that other butan vapes have.

In conclusion, "Dani" is just a guessing game, we even explained with Danisa cookies thing as a meme on our social media. Because at the end of the day, having fun is what we actually need We never mean to compete with anyone, Dyna or Anvil because we started as a handmade vape shop, just sell around the town our handmade products (plural) for passion. In future, we will have more handmade vapes anyway so many thanks for you guys who did join our game !!!

If anyone of you feel offensive or disrespectful about the "Dani" thing just let us know, we may change it and host a competition, who could make a better name will have a free DaniVape or something like that hehe
