Howdy! I received my Dani today and have some very early first impressions after ~8hrs use:
Whats freakin' great:
1. It works, very well. She has her own temperament, but she is not at all difficult to dance with. For anyone that has used a Dynavap x FMJ or an Anvil, the general technique will come second nature, and fat clouds will follow after a minimal amount of practice.
2. It is absolutely fantastic natively. I am typically NOT a native vape user, but there is something about the restriction of the Dani that makes it much more enjoyable via native use... it feels like a cooler native experience than the Anvil to my old windbags.
3. It is nicely machined and executed, and the finish is GOOD, not great; I'll discuss this below, but it is honestly impressive that a small scale shop is turning out anything of this quality, at such a price tag... it's a win for vaporists and their wallets.
4. This one is slightly subjective: it's hefty in the hand; an Anvil with the XL mouthpiece weighs 57.6g, and Danivape is a tad heavier still at 58.3g. So, for those who enjoy a hefty device, this definitely scratches that itch. I dig it.
5. The stem annodization is nicely done, and the colours pop.
What ain't so freakin' great:
1. There are a number of issues with the finish. First and foremost, that everyone should absolutely be aware of who buys a Danivape: there was some type of machine oil residue that leaked out from behind the silver heating ring upon the first heat cycle. It smelled of burning oil and I suspect that's what it was. Thankfully, I was simply doing new vape cleaning and burn offs, but if you buy a Danivape, make absolutely certain you clean it to high hell, and do multiple empty burn offs before using it. I was told by BFG that they use an ultrasonic cleaner, post-manufacturing, but that it may have not gotten under that ring properly (an issue I am certain he will be quick to resolve).
2. I must echo concerns already raised in this thread regarding the lack of chamfering on sharp edges. Many of the 90 degree angles are sharp to the point of feeling borderline slicey... the o-ring grooves, the heat fins, the helix grooves, the inner spiral cooler. All of these edges need to be knocked back, and my understanding is that this design improvement is already in the works for the next batch.
3. The restriction while the carb hole is closed is quite high... in my opinion, too high. It's more restricted than any DV I've owned, and every bit as restricted as the Anvil in it's fully closed orientation. It makes water piece use quite labour intensive, and I find myself opting for native use, which-thankfully-is fantastic.
4. There are a lot of lengthily-threaded pieces, which is not ideal for people with arthritis or hand dexterity issues.
5. The thin black o-rings used on the tip are not great. Viton ISO proof o-rings please

User Tips:
Still learning the device, but currently my favourite way to hit it is with the Ronxs torch set to single flame, medium length, heating at the middle of the silver ring, and go a full 10 seconds past the second click, then hit it natively.. Glorious, tasty, fluffy clouds. Repeatable, predictable, one hit'ish extraction.
All in, this is a very solid device AS IS-completely capable of hanging with the heavy hitters, with some dialing in-but I believe that with the improvements BFG has planned, it is going to go from very solid, to a no-brainer, must buy. The ONE major issue I have, that I have not heard a planned fix for, is the restriction. I may learn to navigate that with heating and breathing techniques; to be seen and followed up in an incoming YouTube instalment. I digress, I'm Bing, and if you're still reading, you can stop now.
