Just because everyone uses Ti doesn't make it safe, everyone just does what HMK does. I'm still not sure exactly what I think about Ti being safe or unsafe, so I try to limit my use of it, however I love my Dosa rig all too much so I use it a bit but I wanna put a boro or quartz pad on it soon. I think Ti does taste good though but I have no idea why. Could just be my dosa rig.

lol mine tastes awesome too bro n I wish i had a dosa! ti doesnt burn away like steal.. you dont get the burnt steal taste... thats why it taste so awesome its all oil:)

JEDU: is that a c6? with obviously n hmk:p lookin good!

I think Titanium should be one of the closest things to safe we have, they have been using it for years for various medical implants in conjunction with another metal called Tantalum which is in the same family.

The problem is who knows if any metal, quartz, or even boro glass is safe used in the manor that is used for BHO. There are simply no studies on it, and besides, there have been various studies proving that marijuana is not fully safe. Fact is MJ is a drug and is not needed to live so it could have potential side effects. There are various reports online about quartz toxicity, stainless steel which some vapes use in their heat chambers is made of Chromium and Iron which are both toxic to a degree.

My point with this rant is that if studied enough, people will find something toxic or wrong with anything and it seems like everyone is so concerned about the various heating elements and Ti pads that they overlook the fact that marijuana or BHO might not be doing your body any favors.

wow cogz, that looks about the perfect size. i bet it hits great.
What kind of nail are you using in it? do you find that much oil is running down the nail instead of boiling off?

Stickyshisha: this thing is the perfect size! when blazemaster sent me pics I thought it might b a little big but then i got the dimentions and I new it would b just a great oiler! atm im using the glass nails that blaze provided with the piece.. my ti nail is to long or id b using it... ima contact fear I think to get a wbm..but no oil runs down at all cause blazemaster is awesome and puts a divot in his nails! like most GOOD glassblowers doo! that blazemaster is sick, a quick question what is the smallest amount of fresh bud you guys/gals have run I have 2.2grs. of some killer OG and I'm thinking of running it.

That blaze master is sick man. I'm thinking about grabbin a mini beaker of my own. Those devols are looking too good not to grab. I've wanted a retti of some sort for a long time not to mention worked joints. I just dunno, very tempting.

Oh I forgot the smallest amout question. I've wondered the same thing. I've never been under 8gs but I fill my SSTB everytime. I'm thinking you might be able to do less with a smaller glass extractor.

Dosa rig will be ok for now. Maybe lol.

Also anyone know where to get pads of some sort? I'm thinking I should rewrap my lil b before I sell it unless someone out there is looking for an unwrapped rig

I really like these from Labworx/ALT.com a buddy of mine has one on an HMK/dosa style curve from an unknown blower but the Labworx pad looks and works really well and is super simple to wrap fits nicely with a round bell which I think all bells are round at the opening not square, right? ;)

well I ran it, it was actually 2.4grs. of some O.G. I'm doing a quick purge I'll let ya'all know what the yield is later.

Here it is .3grs. from 2.4grs. of O.G. my dish weighs 15.2grs. on the button (sorry for the crappy iphone photo) purged for 32 min. prolly a little long for the amount but I'm happy so far and it's rock hard, now it's time for a night cap :cool:
