Argh, I just saw this and I hope this wasn't a bad(-ish) time to pull the trigger. Because of this:

This is taken from the b2cvape main-site on aliexpress. To explain: The products are almost never at their original prices. And it makes quite a difference. The tidow plus 2.0 should be around 30 bucks (iirc) less, when returned to the reduced prices (~100 now compared to ~70/80 most of the time). But they are a very buyer friendly shop, maybe you could just ask him about it? I hope I did not disturb your happines about this buy, just wanted to let you (and everyone else) know.

Thanks for this! I did send a message to the seller, and they responded quite quickly. He confirmed 260 beads is the correct number.

He also confirmed that if I'm buying the heat shield (stand), I should buy the 18mm version and not the 29mm version. Glad he cleared that up cause I had the wrong one in my cart at first.

I've gone ahead and pulled the trigger... got the Tiodw Plus 2.0 housing, rubies, extended (30mm height) coil, coil handle, and titanium bowl. left out the PID because I'm just going to use the same one I use with my CC Omega (just had to make sure to get the coil with the correct XLR pinout).

I'm excited to put this thing together and give it a shot. I'm mainly interested cause I've been eyeing the Taroma 360 and this looks like similar functionality for a fraction of the price.

Awesome. It's probably one of the most potent ball vapes around. The Plus 1 would be more similar to the taroma 360 though, I believe.

I just ordered the same minus heat shield thanks to this thread. I screwed up yesterday and ordered the original mini, etc. based on an old Reddit thread. This will be my first ball vape and I didn't know what I was doing.

They have me sorted today, though. Wonderful customer service.

How do you like the plus 2.0? It’s entirely shelved most of my kit… crazy extractions!! Small potential tip, I replaced the machined bottom screen in mine with a 13/16” mesh screen and prefer the airflow character that way

Hey everyone! I’ve been a fan of the tiodw ball vapes for a while now.

I have a few already but I just ordered the new ceramic pro and a pro mini adapter as an extra. I also ordered the new wireless heat stand. They don’t appear in the store page but they are options when looking at the wireless heat stand. Pretty good deal and an extra injector or diffuser adapter is only $12 usd

damn I didn’t know that! They must have added the Tiodw store recently since AE has been giving them issues with their b2cstore.

It’s less than a dollar difference tho so I don’t know. Tiodw store was dhgate before and it was always free shipping so maybe there’s some differences from that. It was free shipping but roughly the AE shipping amount difference

For a different experience, I found the Plus 2.0 really nice using it with a Crossing Tech Micro Injector Bowl or alternatively a Terpcicle (the inner tube only). You can get the material right next to the bottom screen of the plus and have a nice 1-2 hit extraction at 420F. This way you have a minimal distance between heat source and material that is not possible with their bowls.

You have to hold it though, that bottom aligns with the top of the mentioned "bowls".

The method also works with the V3 if you pair it with the Crossing Tech Micro Bowl.

Nice! I couldn’t resist due to the price even tho I have the titanium pro and pro mini already. It will definitely be a different experience than the 2.0 for sure so it’s a great addition imo. The wired ceramic Tiodw V3 worked surprisingly well and noticeably more “pure” flavour compared to some metal housings.

Love the Ti mesh screen!!! I do the same! I have found balls at 2.5-4mm and gems all work quite well, might be down to preference at a point - there is plenty of thermal mass to crush whatever you toss its way regardless

Agreed! It’s such a small difference and mostly comes down to airflow preferences. I like to take pretty hard rips so it helps moderate my inhale speed a bit to keep it a little more consistent every rip.

That’s a nice application actually I hadn’t thought of it that way! May need to do more testing haha

The bowls are way smaller than the tiodw. It is not compatible for a hands free exp. So you pretty much hold the Diffusor on the Bowl such that the bottom of the Duffusor is flush with the top of these bowls. It won't hold on its own. This way you can get full convection with the plus 2.0

Ohh ok I see. I figured the plus since it sort of fits those bowls hands free, almost. My hands can’t stay level/stable long enough to take a hit like that but still a great idea!

I made a nice micro-dose bowl for the plus 2.0 out of a spare part. I will share pictures of it later assuming imgur links are acceptable here. It’s really simply but I suck at describing even simple things without writing a short novel. lol

I wanted to try a ceramic ballvape and also a wireless one. so this ticks both boxes
