I’m loving my Angus now that the strange taste has completely gone.

The battery life is quite disappointing but I bought 20 Molicel P28A batteries so they should keep me going for a while.

I don't think it's that bad but I'm not sure what people are comparing it too... I'm guessing because it's two batteries compared to most single battery devices?

I've been 50/50 using it with my Milaana and damn the flavor is outstanding..

if Angus gets more upgrades, i would be one who would reconsider buying one, i am waiting for the unit to have more life time experience usage and for more little improvements. do you know of improvements coming ?
i guess no one knows or care to share what future upgrades are coming and when. hell at one time this fc sub had our hands on the heart beat of the Angus tech. i guess what is being offered now is all we get, do not know, anymore

I was comparing it to my AirVape Legacy pro which has 1 battery.

Now that I’ve got plenty of batteries it’s fine.
The Angus is such a beast so the battery drain would be expected really.

Thanks dude! I'm so glad you are enjoying it, for some reason I totally disagreed about the flavor, so nice data point to have in here: our opposite opinions on literally the same unit (despite other variables like the loads)

I think I get at least 4 sessions, maybe up to 6 if I stay at low temps on the Angus. This is a little worse than the Mighty, but the Mighty's heater doesn't draw as much juice and tastes worse. I have an ALP too, and I think I get around 5-6... maybe 7 5 minute sessions out of a fresh P28.

If you want to see REAL shitty battery life, then try a Lamart P80.

they have been discuss in this sub since the beginning. not interested in a re-hash. 420vapzone on discord covers The Angus needs and improvements too.

I'm fairly new to the forum, and I'm looking at this vape. What improvements were discussed and not done yet? I'm legit curious before I buy.

It seems the major issues have been updated/addressed.
they are addressing minor issues as they continue to manufacture them, too.
One problem i did not like was the unit turning itself off if you sit the Angus down to hard on a table or hard object.
That only happen with early production units with only a few units, turns on/off, actually had that problem.
After talking with a few more owners and reviewers on YouTube, i'd say buy the unit if the unit meets your needs (it's features).
It's a session device with a 5 min fixed time period (don't like that either).

Soothing Vapors now offers a modified v1.5 version, where they improved the units heat signature changing the OG glass balls with Rubies balls around the 50 watt halogen bulb. They give the og balls back to you where you can add those og glass beads by putting them into the upgraded metal CPU area for addition cooling of the vapor.
So i think the unit is safe and good enough many swear by it's quality, now.
My only bitch is poor battery life, even if you use Molicel P28a Batteries.
Those batteries are the best lasting and best performance according to many users. Make sure they are matched pairs to get the best out of them. Even with those Molicel batteries you only get 5 to 7 session out of a charge depending on the temp setting.

I hate typing and that's all i can do. Other will say ya or na but that's ok.
now i'm too broke to buy anything else. Just got the ALP SE Steampunk for $169

How many session do you think you should get? I think I remember 7 sessions being about right for my Mighty. So getting 5 much better tasting sessions is worth what I perceive to be a slight tradeoff in battery life. Plus you can slip in spare batteries, unlike with the Mighty.

Hey guys and gals.

I just chucked my Angus down on concrete. Hard! The CU and battery covers where off so the batteries flew out and their wrapping is broken so they will have to go.

Is there any glass components inside the Angus I should be worried about? Doesnt help to shake it as the balls inside would drown the sound of potential broken glass.
