For the record, unlike people recommending it , i have tried the TUBOx with DNA board and it dont recommend it, any mod with the TUBO software blows it out of the water. Accuracy has been checked with a pt100 thermocouple and whats on the display matches reality well enough.

Have you tried adjusting the screw on the bottom of the 510 connector?
I’ve had success doing this to a Splinter that was occasionally giving my mod ‘no atomiser connected’ errors.

That link is the one I downloaded but it just doesn't recognize the device. I have put in other vapes in the mode and it picks them up right away.
No I haven't but I'm currently using the Tetrax in a DNA mod and it works pretty good but was really wanting to try out the firmware. I will test out the screw thing and see if that changes anything.

Hi all, my new PH TetraX is en route to me right now. I'm looking for recommendations on a battery mod that can run Tubo firmware. I have a Evic Mini VTC but would prefer a 3 or 4 battery mod. I am looking at the Reuleaux RX300 but have heard in the past that this was not a reliable mod.
Any color on this or any recommendations? TIA!

I got my Cuboid 200 from that link, so I can confirm that it works. However, shipping took FOREVER because it was coming from Taiwan/China/Thailand (I don't remember which lol). It took almost a month to get to me, so if there are multiple options for shipping I highly recommend going with the faster option instead of the default. +1 to the Cuboid 200 though, it's a great mod for the TetraX. Will say it's a little bit heavy, but that's really my only downside to the mod.

I just received notice that my TETRAx has shipped!
Ive loaded the tubo software on to my evic Vtwo but Im not sure how to set it up properly?

Your TetraX manual should have the recommended settings in it, that's where I got mine from!
Side note if it doesn't seem like double/triple/etc clicking is doing anything, you might have to set those yourself. Took me a while to figure that out when setting might up haha

So today I come to the thread with the worst news a vaporizer owner can have, my Tetra broke 
I went to vape a bowl and whenever I pressed the fire button it first said Atomizer Short and then No Atomizer. I think I've determined that somehow the wire connections inside the part that hooks up to the 510 connector have come loose/broke as for a second my mod recognized the Tetra and fired fine so I don't believe it's the heater. I'm happy because that seems like something easy to fix, but extremely sad knowing that I won't be able to use my favorite vape for a while. Godspeed my TetraX

I literally shed a tear hearing you’re sad story. This might be the first vape I buy doubles of just because I can’t see myself going a day without it. I hope everything gets it self worked out very soon.

Is it normal for the owner of LAmart to ignore all your emails once you mention sending it back? I've had problems with the tetrax since day one I received it, and he was helpful at first but now it has been like 3 or 4 days with no response. I'm just tired of it not working all the time and want it fixed, or refunded but now he is MIA. I bet I'll probably get a response from him soon after this post.
When it works, the tetra is fire, but just about every bowl I use it, ends up fucking up somehow. I've gotten a message from the box mod that there is short, and I'm pretty sure that is the problem. I have to push the cord through so it can poke out a bit more where the threads are, but that is annoying as F to do every other bowl if not every bowl.
Anyone else have any problems with the tetra? I know of others having the box mod not detect the atomizer. I also have a joytech Dual.

Pretty sure you tetra didn't break, but some kind of problem with the tetra itself. I've had the same problem and I've heard of others having it too. Seems like lamart knows of this problem too. Would be nice to get a legit fix for it.

I emailed him last night and haven't received a response yet. However it is pretty much a one (or two? not sure) person operation so I understand if there is a bit of lag between responses, not to mention the time zone difference for me at least. Before mine broke I hadn't had a single issue and it performed like a charm, but sounds like you might be having a similar issue to me currently with the 510 connector as your problem sounds pretty much the same as mine. Ralph/Funkyjunky have an incredible reputation around here and everywhere else I've seen him talked about so I've got full faith that he'll take care of us.

I really think the problem is that the device is shorting out somehow. I put some electrical tape on the solder wires, which there was a lot of it exposed, and it has helped out a lot but still I keep getting problems. Like it will be hitting like a champ then next hit I get nothing. Weed is still green or light brown, so vapor is still there. I was even wondering if the cord around the wires have some metal or something in it that can carry a current, since the electrical tape has helped out so much.

So my Tubo TetraX arrived - game changer! Beautifully worked, Amish-like wood exoskeleton with unique wire-glass coils, truely inspired design. The FunkyJunky firmware works really nicely as well. Just click three times to run "warmup" mode, & then click 2 times to run "cruise" mode, if necessary. Clouds are ridiculous! Beyond impressed.

@funkyjunky recommends either of the following batteries for the Tubo TetraX:
Samsung 30Q, LG HG2, Sony VTC6.
I purchased 6 18650's from IMR batteries located in Texas, USA for the recommended Joyetech Cuboid 200w mod (3x18650). The discounts generally begin at a minimum of 6 batteries. Check out the usual suspects for battery purchases because prices do vary.
