Tetra P80

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
good to see someones vape dreams come true @Vaporific :tup:I know how much you've been wanting this for some time to. this ones on my list but since I just bought a new computer all vape purchases are on the back burner for a while:( looking forward to your thoughts on this one, I've never used a mod b4 and find it a bit intimidating to be honest but that challenge doesn't make me not want one anytime soon.

The doctor of all things glass has spoken. Thank you for clarifying! I recall you or someone liked the tank instead of the nub so I opted for one of each. I’ll see what I prefer in a few weeks. I’m excited and nervous at the same time as I’ve never held or seen a P80 in person. I know there’s a learning curve which I’ll get through, eventually. :peace:

Haha still working on the doctorate! Yeah I like the tank best for portability, though it does have some draw restriction, so I use it on demand at higher temp... Mostly I am running cruise and removing the tetra to clear each hit, using a male to male adapter of some kind if not the official woa through a hook or water piece, with or without water... Oh yeah the mini jayhooks are also a great value by the way, just so many options!

So i ended up getting a tank stem because there wasn’t any clear glass long bent stems available from what i could tell (update, is on website now but out of stock). Was planning on getting a tank stem and long bent stem along with it. I might still get a clear long bent stem if it goes back in stock before my vape ships.

But for now, im considering getting the micro cooling stem instead and was wondering how it might compare to the tank stem? Seen some comparisons on the thread between the tank and nub stems, but not much on the micro cooling stem. Wondering if anyone has had a chance to try the stem and what they think of it compared to other options?

Also, am thinking about getting sony vtc6 batteries for the p80. Are those a good choice for the p80 or are there other batteries you guys would recommend over them?

Thanks, @Bad Dog ! Yeah, I looked at the FW7 for a sec and decided a P80 had to be my next vape. For a while too. I’ve never used a mod before either though it does have some similarities with the Tinymight. Some and I’m sure there will be pleasant differences. I bought a new laptop too a couple of weeks ago but don’t have a mouse for it yet - it would’ve helped with the drop but I finally scored one after learning about P80s a year ago. Some things you have to sacrifice on, lol.

Sony and Molicel p26 are the two main choices from my experience. I have them both (for my TM). I don’t see much difference with them though. Others may or track usage (and charging, storing, etc.) more precisely; I’m in the charge it when it’s drained camp and use them regularly in rotation. I also bought a battery with the P80 - and I don’t remember what it was, lol. But it’ll be good to have an extra. :peace:

EDIT: YES - I will offer a review after a few uses of my new P80! And perhaps you’ll have one someday too :)

Why do you not want one of the long bent colored glass stems? I love the colored glass myself and it always tempts me, I want to get the WPA in every color lol

As far as I know no one here has posted about the micro stem because no one has received it yet, it is too new, looking at it it seems to offer the same body of the tank, but with a different mouthpiece so it would probably have more airflow with slightly less cooling because it is straight up instead of a bent angle...

Yeah those are great but you don't need to spend that much because the Molicell P26A or P28A are cheaper and really perform the best out of any I've used personally with this (and my TM too, but Sony's are great!)

The p80 is my first portable vaporizer that I managed to buy in November.
I still can't get enough of it! I mastered them very quickly.
It is very intuitive and it gives me success with disconcerting ease.
It is a small steam generator very powerful and which gives me a pure taste. He treats !!!
I always take care when using it because it is a delicate and fragile product.
But it works so well! You will not be disappointed my friend. This product is perfectly worth the investment.
My p80 is perfect as a portable, if I buy another portable vaporizer it will only be if Lamart releases a new model.
Can't wait to see if they'll be able to do even better than the P80

There's maybe some learning around which temps you prefer for what effects and such, but as far as learning a special inhale technique for a full convection vaporizer I think the P80 is pretty dead simple actually. The draw is wide open but the heater seems to keep up pretty well. I find its slightly more even if you slow your inhale down (in terms of avb color mostly), but you can also just kind of rip on it and get great results.

I've got most of the Lamart stems. The nub and tank are both great for cooling the vapor. I just find the nub gets a little hot used as a session vape. Ditto the bent spikey and the wooden capsule stem (at least in short). As truly on demand stems with a reasonable time between hits to cool off they all work pretty good, but the tank definitely works better for session-ing through a bowl ime. I also find that the small mass of the short capsule stem (both the spiked glass stem and straight with an amaze cooler) is kind of a bummer. With the other stems I can at least take a huge first hit, while the capsule stem is usually hot enough that I have to stop my draw before I'd otherwise like to a lot.

Thanks for the info dude. Makes sense.

Going to look into the other batteries you mentioned.

As far as the colored glass thing, I try to stick with clear glass just because I like to keep things relatively clean and the clear glass makes it easier for me to see how much build up there is. It also gives me more peace mind when cleaning because I can usually visually see how well it's been cleaned. Not to say you can't still do that with colored stems but I just find clear glass preferable tbh.

Doesn't matter though because I was actually looking for a bent spiked stem, rather than just the bent stem. But I don't see any bent spiked stems in stock atm. Might get a Nub or Micro Cooling stem to compliment the Tank stem I got. Gotta flip a coin or something.

What about non-lamart stems? Anyone use any other glass stems with good cooling? I didn't even think of that because Lamart already has a good amount of options, but it is compatible with other stems from what I've read. Interested to hear about any you guys have found to work well with the P80.

sometimes I like to brush the glass/screen near the heater (where the stem sits....) , GENTLY, with the S&B brush, the taste is so pure after that. so pure. between the Jelly to the Gasoline to the Mamba. can't even say exactly what it is :D

How gorgeous this drop was. After that, involuntarily feel myself in the category: "fuck I miss the drop." Are there any more like that here?:brow:

If I hadn't bought hopper io two weeks ago, definitely one of the p80s would have become mine. Wait for next round :ninja:

Gosh damn, this is the only vape I have ever encountered where I find myself checking them out like I do women.
Always gotta scroll through these drops a couple times (okay, maybe 3 or 4) to admire them. I can see myself continuing to check in at each drop just to see what new designs are either being Prebuilt with that full creative control left to Lamart or the custom vapes that are a bit more of a collaborative effort. I just can't enough of looking at this vape.

As a guy who has always put vapor quality first, I'm dumbfounded by the way I am arguably more obsessed with the look of this vape than I am the functionality lol. I just want them all but my wallet isn't fat enough, guess I gotta go make the next Amazon or something and then put all my earnings into Tetra P80s. Sounds like the only viable option lol.

Firewoods are also something I've admired the look of since the Firewood 4, but the diversity and breath of fresh unique air I get every time I look at one of these things is just something else. I'm honestly addicted to looking at P80s at this point, might need to join a support group or something. But I'd much rather just feed my addiction by admiring more of these vapes.

LOL - I just realized the custom pics are in pairs and both sides of the vape. I thought there were SO many. I hope @pinetrrizzle is not double counting, lol. Indeed, these are all incredible and I greatly enjoy the aesthetics on most (not all - subjective of course but ALL works of art). Hope they keep coming out this way. I’m greatly anticipating my pre-built from this drop and can’t wait to use my new P80! :peace:

Interesting, was under impression that area didn't really get dirty. Are they ways to keep it more clean? Like, do you loosely pack the basket screen or is it better to sort of tamp the herb into the basket screen so that it's less likely to fall down into that bottom screen area?
Have a couple S&B brushes, so good to know they can be used to brush out the area safely though.

Joint loading (between the 15mm screen of the stem and the 19mm basket) is how to keep the heater's clean as far as It can,
basket 19mm loads is what i like, Just because it's for Microdosers.
i just don't want to use the joint load, it will raise my tolerance. but used it yesterday, with the long bent stem. the taste is unreal.
the taste stays good even if you don't clean it, but after the cleaning process is smells so pure, 100% taste
By joint load I mean the second option here, with the 19mm basket as a cap :
