YOU WEREN'T THERE, MAN!
YOU CAN STILL GO BACK IN TIME AND SEE FOR YOURSELF, MAN!
When TT said let the science begin they weren't lying.
I been have great success with the Eleva8r bowl at like 760, what did you dial the OG bowl to?Yep, it hasn't come off rotation yet. I've brought out lots of other vapes to test alongside it, but right now it just FLOWS with my setup. I've dialed in the Elev8r and OG bowls and really dig having this on my counter. Can't wait for more folks to come up with tweaks
That is how I meant it. I've seen it being used many different ways now.You havent said what we'd be looking for? Just some vague hints that 'things have changed', which is generally how things work over the course of nearly a decade.
Plus, I was here in 2012, lurking, joined in 2013.
A lot of vapes go thru this period, where they either havent really been put thru their paces or the manufacturers thinks they've tested them fully but they havent as once these things go out into the wild, all manner of different uses happen, and failures and problems become way more apparent.
Im not sure any thread on here with a new release vape hasnt gone thru similar. The FP line, my personal fave, has gone thru many, many changes over the years due to customer feedback and their own redesigns. These refinements happen publicly and can be met with much negativity, but I also understand why it happens. And the end result in a lot of cases is a much improved product.
Let the science begin is more like 'let the mass testing commence'. Which side of the 'this should have been done before release' line you fall is largely opinion as we dont know whats gone on behind the scenes, just all guess work.
'Let the science begin' might be stretching the notion of teething problems just a little tho
Soldering iron tip.
I got the ddave mod for the terp torch. I'm liking the ability to do one hits and not needing to stir the bowl. Using it strapped to the stand seems less likely I'll burn myself.Wow this thread was definitely hyped to start with than fell off the face of the earth. Just wondering if any one found some cool uses with the TT lately. I've been letting friends borrow mine but feel it's time for us to part. Just wondering if there is anything I can try with it. Heard of people using with sticky bricks n what not.
Man all that glass hanging around it would not stand a chance with me. I was doing the 18mm with basket screen trick to avoid stirring and it seemed to work wellI got the ddave mod for the terp torch. Same. That's how I was using it until I got the whip kit. It sits off to the side while all I need to do is hand a whip to someone with a water piece. And those tiny 14mm baskets are awesome! For me it's the perfect one hit bong rip with nothing leftover. Seems there are plenty of ways to get ripped with the terp torch. I have a hammer style bubbler with an 18mm bowl for the basket and adapter coming from wish.Man all that glass hanging around it would not stand a chance with me. Someone in the shop likes to use the TT as the stickybrick heat source, works well but your mileage may vary. I personally would be cautious of getting the wood too hot.Well I got one heading my way. I want to try it with my Sticky Brick and see how it compares to using butane...
We just got them in, and noticed a faster heat up time / faster heat soakYeah all my vapes are on water pipes with whips. I was thinking about getting a bubbler like that for on the go events. Has any one tried their ruby balls?
Faster heat up n heat soak would be huge for me because I'm super impatient when I get off work and waiting for gear to warm upSomeone in the shop likes to use the TT as the stickybrick heat source, works well but your mileage may vary. I personally would be cautious of getting the wood too hot.

I haven't tested them enough to notice performance differences yet
Get a smart plug and switch it on as you leave workFaster heat up n heat soak would be huge for me because I'm super impatient when I get off work and waiting for gear to warm up
Agreed. One of my greatest purchases ever.Get a smart plug and switch it on as you leave work
Will that actually work though? Isn't that just like plugging it in/turning on the outlet? Don't you still have to hit the power button on the torch itself? I'm super curious if this actually works.Get a smart plug and switch it on as you leave work
