This one should work: info@tafee.comDoes anyone know a direct email or some kind of contact to get a hold of someone?
Sad to say that I've also encountered an issue with my V2.
It was in response to the comment above mine, which I believe is regarding a V2 (based on the serial number mentioned). Also? I don't recall anyone here having issue with the V2?
More widespread problems? I don't understand the basis for that concern.
Sorry you are having an issue, but I believe you can get a replacement, eh?
Yes, you're right. Also said he was hitting on "4 or 5"...It was in response to the comment above mine, which I believe is regarding a V2 (based on the serial number mentioned).
Vapefiend confirmed the fault this morning and a replacement puck will be with me tomorrow! I'm a big fan of the Bowle, so I'm hopeful the new one won't have any issues. As an early adopter of the Series 2, I'm just a bit wary of any teething issues that may arise.
As I said yestrday, the Notify Me email was not sent, at least not to me or you!My Bowle is not working at all....because I don't have one. How did I miss a sale on their website...I look almost everyday. I also have signed up a million times for their emails...I did not get one email saying to me they were in stock...so, my question. Did the Bowle go on sale on their site? Do all of you with the new Bowle get it only from Vapefiend?
When you say both batches...what does that mean please? Also, thank you for your response. I appreciate it.As I said yestrday, the Notify Me email was not sent, at least not to me or you!
Yes, Bowle II was on the Tafee site, both batches.
Pay attention to this thread, it is as reliable and about as timely as anything else re; the Bowle's happenings.
They've already restocked after initial launch batch but it sold out shortly. When you say both batches...what does that mean please? Also, thank you for your response. I appreciate it.
This happened to me before, but I posted it in the wrong thread.Ah...what happend to my tafee bowle grinder Version 1.
I havent used the grinder (potter) since a long time. And it was pretty dirty. So i wanted to clean it with iso today. It was not exposed to the iso for a long time. But the black plastic and everything totaly turned white. Like almost desolved. I have seen something like this before. I can throw it away now.
I would post a picture.
But i guess that this phenomenon is known. And it seems it is not allowed to clean the Potter with iso!?
Wait…… I thought you shouldn’t use iso with plastic. I cleaned my plastic potter (Bowle) with iso and it got fucked up (black potter turned white). So I haven’t been cleaning my POM.
But i guess that this phenomenon is known. And it seems it is not allowed to clean the Potter with iso!?
My first generation Bowle never had any problems and I still love it.Still only a few bowls behind me but so far can’t find anything that would bother me anymore.
Finally no need to have another cable, v1 was my last device. Also battery life now feels almost bonkers to me. No heater cutoffs yet. Haptic feedback is enjoyable improvement. Still the same cool and tasty vapor no matter the draw. In the nutshell, Bowle will still be my daily driver.
I also miss that satisfying sound and feel of the original stem insertion, wondering if it's an intentional design change to reduce insertion wear skid marks? One thing that I am slightly unhappy about is the ball catch, though. There's barely any resistance when inserting the stem, and it's missing the iconic click when fitted. It's something that I can overlook, but wanted to mention it nonetheless.
Got ya! I was more than happy with the OG. Although the battery life and heater cutoffs surprised me sometimes which is not the case anymore. But I wouldn’t call those a problem, I hear you.My first generation Bowle never had any problems and I still love it.
Tbh no… I have had that ‘electronic’ taste from my mighty before/other devices, but never from the Bowle. That said I can’t think for the life of me how you could be doing anything wrong either..It appears that my replacement puck has also developed a strange taste/smell of electronics, within less than 48 hours and minimal use.
It leads me to believe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't think of anything that would class as outside of ordinary usage.
Has anybody else here had an experience like this?
I was considering my draw speed as a potential issue, but I wouldn't say that it's slow to the point where it would cause a build-up of heat inside the unit. I aim for a certain amount of turbulence when inhaling, so my draws were usually at a steady, medium pace to achieve this.Tbh no… I have had that ‘electronic’ taste from my mighty before/other devices, but never from the Bowle. I mean it’s not like there’s much that can go wrong from the users end, except for draw speed-
Do you sip on the vapor very slowly?
(Maybe without enough cool air coming in it’s heating up the alloy of the body / heating up the electronics or something)
Edit: Even then I find that strange and unlikely. Hopefully it’s just a small fix and they can get you taken care of!
