But that would be pretty heavy too I imagine... ehhh Minivap had that?

Anyway I am testing a little more properly from a full charge, and I have already gotten four bowls and still have two lights so maybe one more... Two of those were smaller and two were more full, so yeah I can see how you can stretch this too.

I picked up a bowle myself but it hasn't arrived yet. I did email Jorge to ask him what he thought about the cups, and he mentioned its great for quenching your thirst while vaping, and that it's also very good for sipping on infusions while vaping (this sounded quite interesting to me). Now I'm just anxiously awaiting its arrival on Jan 2nd according to FedEx.

I kinda wish they had named it the "Ball".....I prefer to be called a "Baller" instead of a "Bowler":brow:

Could anyone imagine if you could replace the cup part with a battery the size of the cup?
Wouldn't that giant battery be awesome?!?

I had envisioned a battery the size of the current Bowle puck but since it would be all battery, it would have way more amp hours.
Clip in like the cup , 1 inch space for a usb jumper cable.
A cup size battery and you could use your Bowle as an exercise hand weight.... 🏋️‍♀️

Bowle V2: move the lights and USB port to the side of the puck. Battery could then clip in flush and you could also see the lights better.

Just leave it plugged in and use it as a "desktop". Has anyone confirmed this is doable? Looks like the power cord is super long which I really like.
It's not really doable. While the Bowle does still work with a USB cord plugged in, it's just a standard USB port with standard USB power delivery. It can't come close to keeping up with the demands of the heater; the battery will drain more quickly than it can be charged.

My battery died just the other day while I was using it plugged in. I had to wait for it get some charge before I could finish the bowl.

For this to work, they'd need to upgrade that USB connection to something that can handle more power. It'd need a dedicated wall-wart like the Mighty and obviously a battery pack with that same connection.

Were you using the supplied charger, or your own?

Does it matter? I figure it would have enough inherent battery power to get through a “session” or two. As long as an attached battery pack can charge the unit when you’re not taking a draw, it should keep up correct?

It does matter if you are using the supplied charger and adapter.
Adapters do vary with regards to how much voltage can passthrough from your outlet, most wall warts/adapters vary between 6v and 15v.

If you are not using what is supplied, you may not be getting adequate power.

I've had mine a few days and still collecting all my thoughts for a meaningful contribution to this thread... I don't have time to get it all down during the business day, but will be posting initial impressions later.

I will go ahead and say I have been floored by the flavor and vapor signature, it really packs a punch and pulls every bit of goodness out of your material- absolute complete extraction!

Much more to post up later, but I am FAT-HAPPY sippin on a sugary Shortcake in my Bowle!!

I'm a fan of charging with timer switches after every use. Search your favorite shopping site with keywords "plug in countdown timer"

From each vape, according to its ability

To each user, according to his needs, at the time

I ordered my Bowle on the 28th in the evening and FedEx was knocking on my door today before noon! I really did not expect to see it until next year (har har har) even though I'm in Canada. A big check mark in the impressed column for the upgraded overnight shipping from Tafee. Then I opened my box to discover they threw in a metal potter as well! Tafee is killin' it! I didn't expect such generosity, wow just wow.

Initial impressions:
The packaging is very slick, and I don't see these units being damaged during shipping unless someone drives a truck over the box. The included scraper tool, brush and wire brush cleaner are a nice touch and I'm glad to see they choose to make them part of the vape package. The ceramic cups feel nice, they have a different fell compared to the MV1 crucibles as they don't feel rough. I feel like they'll stay cleaner longer. I'll post back after I give it a run.

Nice! Yeah the upgraded shipping and free potter or drinkware seems to be an early adopter bonus, wonder how long it will last.

And yeah the ceramic quality of the chamber pots is fantastic, they do stay clean long and are super easy to clean quick when they are dirty... Oh they also cool pretty quickly and you can hold by the rim, so you can unload while still warm to keep it cleaner longer.

It was the supplied cable and adaptor.

It really just depends on your use case. For me, it's probably not going to help much. I had the vape plugged into the wall and was still able to outpace its ability to keep the battery charged.

Lol it sounds like they have them sitting in various FedEx hubs awaiting dispatch from the delivery times so far... At least in Canada and the USA.
The crucibles in the MV1 were just steatite I think, The pots in Bowle are ceramic zirconium, much much more expensive but much better.

Let's see how they hold up punishment over time.

Forgive me if I sound scrambled, I'm fighting a wicked migraine. My Bowle-bowle-bowle (say it like Austin Powers would) was put to the test on its first day home. No screwing around here, I needed relief and it didn't disappoint. I got home from Costco (note to self: make better choices) so I figured I'd make use of the raspberries I bought and I tossed a few into ice water and then loaded up a bowle of Charlotte's Angel (CBD flower).

The heat up time is fast, very fast. I started at temp 1 with a couple draws, moved to 2 for another two or three draws and up to 3 to finish it off. I did roughly the same for another bowl, then some Wedding Cake and back to Charlotte's Angel for my 4th. There is a bit of a hot spot after my hits on temp 2 but one stir mid session is all I needed to fix that (the manual recommends stirring).

The Bowle is no slouch in the extraction department. My AVB was dark, there were definitely no green spots like some convection vapes. This vape pumps out vapor save the first super terpy draw on temp 1.

There's some funky technology going on inside these units. I noticed the draw restriction changing during my draws especially if I drew hard which turned the green "ready" LED off and increased the resistance. I need to monitor that more closely as on my last 2 draws the heater kicked out but I immediately restarted and had long draws so that may have been something on my end. Hell I could have imagined the whole thing for all I know, migraines mess me up. My garage is a fairly cold right now so the max acceptable draw speeds were very adequate especially considering the lower ambient temperature.

The stir tool on mine doesn't allow my device to sit completely flat, there's a little wobble, does anyone else notice that? Seems like I need 3 more tools to even it out :D .

My battery was reading 25% when I checked it after finishing the 4th bowl but a minute later it was at 50% (a little voltage sag I presume) so I'm hoping I could get at least another couple bowls before it died. This is the first charge so I'll give it a few cycles to settle before I make a call.

The cup is awesome but I'll have to watch what I load in so I don't cover the status LED's. I could still see them through reflections in the cup itself or if I tipped the device but I'll make sure I go crushed ice next time and less fruit (if that's the route I go) at least until I become more familiar with how it works. Having a beverage right on top of the puck is awesome, and I've been thinking about strain and beverage pairings and how much it will add to the experience. Nothing wrong with flat water either but the cup must be used imo.

More testing coming shortly.

I am so enjoying my break-in period as well!

I was going to start writing now, but realize it would be rushed to get everything on paper so fast. NEED MORE TESTING.
Going to collect all my thoughts and post after the long weekend.

I find the vapor profile incredibly medicating and intoxicating, and I LOVE the cup! I've not used it for a drink yet... scoop o ice cream, a bowle full of gummy watermelon rings, popcorn, etc.

More to come!

Thinking of the glass attachment being reinvented into something else comes to mind the bubbler module for the miniVAP that never was.
Not in the plans at any time but we dreamed of it in the early stages of the miniVAP thread.
It would have been awesome.
I'd like to summon @Roger D but it isn't even possible to tag him anymore, who knows why.

I got the email to say Fed ex are delivering mine on the 5th of Jan. No mention of customs fees yet and I normally get those before they say they are delivering, so fingers crossed this one slips through the net. It’s news years eve at 10:45am I've got 10 caps which I’m about to neck in one, with a ridiculously strong coffee or two! My wife will probably come home from shopping and find me hiding behind the sofa! So happy new year to all, hopefully see ya next year if I awake from my cap coma!

Just wanted say hey and I got mine mid day Monday and have been testing since... like others I want some more time before I post a review. I can say for me at least the high is so clean, different high from others like TinyMight. It allows me to get medicated more thoroughly and last thing I’ll say is this thing extracts everything better than any other vape I’ve tried as of yet! More to follow ! Happy New Years to all!

I tried to find the best fit of the four holes. The hole next to the 'E" in Bowle was the best fit for me and allowed the stir tool head to be flush with the base. When I tried the other three holes it was so tight a fit that the rubber circling the stir tool would come off and it required too much force to attempt to get it flush with the bottom plate.
