Discontinued Supreme Vaporizer

Almost there...
Thanks for V3 reports, pictures and videos :)

How is air flow resistance compare to V2 ?

Airflow, as with most vapes out there is greatly affected by grind.
I had some old herb that basically powdered itself when crumbled and there was considerable resistance due to the bud being packed down when inhaling.
Even though it was so fine the ABV turned out perfectly!

A medium grind works the best I find!

The small mesh screen I installed also helps keep the bud in the tube and not in my WT.

EDIT:
@biohacker
Temp at 197C...Oh My... When yours arrives aim for this and you will be blown away!!

Just so Dab HAppy!
Yeah extra tubes are a must!!
I disagree about extra tubes actually. I have my tube unloaded and loaded before I am even back up to 300 F. The only thing that holds me up from back to back sessions is the heat time of the aluminum block.

I want an extra tube as a spare replacement in case I ever crushed one or something but having an additional tube forwould save me no time or hassle when it comes to loading/unloading IMO.

I'm not too sure if it's been mentioned before but I was getting annoyed at having to unload and load the one tube that I have. So I put a minivap basket in a 14mm female joint, then placed the supreme over that. I got less draw restriction and a decent cloud. I'm going to experiment some more. But I like the system of using the minivap basket instead of the tube.

I like the way your thinking smokey! Your getting more convection that way. I just did something similar. I created the Supreme V3 convection J-hook by putting an 18.8mm male to female glass adapter between the jhook and SV3. The glass adapter has a screen fixed in it so I load the herbs in there. I can actually heat the block while hitting to help maintain heat which can make for a much much longer session.

Nice SV3 mods and options! Looks like i'm headed to the headshop to pickup some glass adapters and such! Still need a good torch! Can't wait! Received some new tasty strains yesterday, and putting them through the Mighty just doesn't give them justice! Need Supreme FLAVOUR COUNTRY that only the Supreme can provide!

I have been experimenting with the various ways of modifying the Supreme 3 mentioned above.
To me they do not provide as satisfying an experience as the standard metal herb chamber.

With the Flexicone i get great flavor but the clouds are weaker and the bud around the perimeter where the silicone seals is still green. Needs a few stirs and higher temps to get nice even ABV.
I also tried my EVO mouthpiece in the set up above with pretty much the same results as the flexicone.

Think i will stick to my super thick and tasty clouds with that added conduction for more power!
For me it is herb tube all the way!
Lower temps for dry delicious hits!!

I just found out that my vapman and lily lighters won't work. There are several torches on the thread that I've looked at and they seem pretty expensive. I've never bought a torch. Would a small pocket one work and if so is there one you'd recommend?

I tried using it on an HI stem will no luck myself. I'm sure it'd work with a higher temp, but I'm not gonna mess with it anymore. It works well enough with the aluminum stem and that's good enough for me.

I use this one. It's not too expensive and gets the job done. I'm sure there are other models that are equally effective for similar prices.

I'm planning on purchasing that exact same one @Stu since it's available at my local home depot, and it's affordable. Are you pretty happy with it?

I've heard nothing but silence from Ed ever since I sent my payment, was hoping for a tracking number at least. Time for the game of patience, I know it will be well worth it! However I empathize with some of the posts I read about regarding communication/shipping, and being "busy" is never an excuse I buy.

I picked up thw same torch Stu has at Lowes about a year ago. I have had many smaller torches come and go but thos torch seems like it will last forever.

I also think the metal tube is the best way for huge cloudy and effective hit so chances are the mods will only be temporary experiments in the name of science of course!

The Supreme 3 continues to impress me with every load!
Today was temp testing for flavor and effects! So a GOOD day!

My technique now is to load the tube and insert it into the S3.
Heat the block to 155 and remove the flame, block will settle around 165+-
Take a DRY full flavour low temp hit with great cloud!
Reheat to 165, block to about 175 and hit a few times with a WT.
Great flavour and clouds!
Last hit is to heat to 180, block to around 190 and take that last hit.
ABV is a perfectly even brown!! EVERY TIME!!

So far zero issues!!
Just need to mainline butane into the house from now on...LOL!

As @IAmKrazy2 mentionned, basically the same cover as original suplied by Ed can be made with cardboard and electric tape.

Use a thin cardboard

j0BaPaF.jpg

Cut it according to heater size :

Fold cardboard toward inside, then pull folded cardboard on the heater and wrap it rather firmly with electric tape :

Wrap it totally to give a pretty and harmonious appearence.

Old one and new one :

New cover fits properly :

Select cardboard size may be difficult; if it's oversized, a small lay of cardboard added inside cover help to fix it on heater, as I did.

I ended up buying a kitchen torch since I would never use the other one for anything other than the supreme. I may up returning it and getting the benzomatic after all.

I don't have a Supreme, but I have a Ronson Torch that looks basically just like the one @Stu posted above, and if it's anything like mine I second the recommendation, I can turn it low enough or high enough to use with any butane vape or even heat up a nail. Pretty cheap too and not huge, not really pocketable but it's not big by any means.

After an 8 day T break (something i haven't done in almost exactly two years) my first indulgence was back to back bowls in the Supreme 3 that were stacked to the brim with small nug chunks. Good god man. Loved it.

Edit. I was on vacation..no way i would consider flying with anything that may be against regulations. Not worth the risk

That's awesome!!! What a way to break a T-break! Flavour and freight train effects!

I had the pleasure yet again to test drive the Supreme 3 with my hombre @lazylathe while my Supreme is in the mail to me!

We both agreed that this little beast is a game changer! Every single bowl was perfect until the very last drop and perfect ABV. FLAVOUR and CLOUDS!!

Can't wait to have this thing in my own hands!

Sorry if I missed this but is the process that you email him and then he sends an invoice? Or should I just email him and ask him what the process is.
I do not need another vaporizer. I don't even use most of the ones I have. I think I've become addicted. Not to "herbs" but to vaporizers.
It's fine and it's normal. It's like when you where 15 and you tried a joint/bong/waterbucket/ first time? Same thing except it costs 10x and you get what you can.
