Discontinued Supreme Vaporizer

@little maggie

You get the main vape with the heater block.
A herb chamber that is the long metal tube, mine came with a clear silicone washer installed on one end. This end attaches to your Water Tool. The clear one is for 18mm pieces.
The smaller red one is used for 14mm Water Tools. Remove the clear one and stretch the red one over the shorter part of the herb tube.
The metal pin with the roll on one end is your screen. Install with the rolled part sitting at the bottom of the herb tube and the pin sticking out the longer part of the herb tube. You can then load herb into the tube and slide it into the main body of the vape.
The longest bit of silicone tube is for direct inhalations from the vape. This piece fits over the red silicone disc and will seal against the silicone already installed on the heater tube.

I will try and take a series of pictures and label them from what you receive in the package and how it all goes together!

As others have mentioned the instructions are not very good at all.
Watch some YouTube videos, especially Ed's Supreme 3 videos and watch carefully and you will pick a lot up from them!
I need to erase my vent. I would appreciate the labeled pictures and a video that shows it being used as opposed to the ones that mainly show clouds. One of Ed's videos shows the unpacking but the other 2 seem to be mainly videos of clouds.
Need help deleting the previous post which I wrote when frustrated about not finding a useful video.

So from left to right:
Large silicone tube will fit over the 14mm (red spacer) and the main tube of the vaporizer
Large clear disc and red disc (installed) are for water tool use.
Red for 14mm
Clear for 19mm
Herb tube has a short side (on the left) and the longer side (on the right of the picture)
Last on the right is the screen and herb removal tool.

Slide the tool into the long part of the tube, as on the photo above. Screen part sits closest to the red disc when inserted.
Load your ground herb into the same side.
Slide the whole set up into the main heat tube of the vaporizer.
heat the block to 155C and wait to stabilize and then hit!

the Supreme 3 at $240?
If you feel The Supreme 3 is too costly on Ebay, write to Ed, and check on a discount!
He has said he will comply and help those that need a price break.
It looks like the idea is to sit by a household outlet or an extension cord while the unit's heat-sink gets to vaping temp, then it's ready,
It appears to me that you misunderstood.
Common sense prevails.
Like any other electrically based portable,
this "proposed" portable will hold a charge.
I am amused by the image of sitting by the outlet for a hit.
I have contacted Ed to be certain of this fact, and will report back.
BUT....
The Supreme 3.... torch powered is the unit at hand
As for the imaginary projections of the electrical unit...
I recall only a suggestion, and the request for feedback to measure it's feasibility in the future.
PLEASE note.
This is at the moment a concept.
I am posting the concept and image as a favor to Ed, so he can determine if this
would be desirable IN THE FUTURE.
At this time the Supreme 3 is His newest unit, and as you have read, it is "The Bomb"
The Supreme 3 is the only available Supreme, so I am not suggesting that anyone hold off to wait for the Electrical Supreme.
The image above and information I presented are in developmental stages.

Not only have I read that it is "the bomb", I had the pleasure of confirming it with @lazylathe yesterday!!!

The BOMB is an understatement!!!

You guys weren't kidding...smooth, big hits! And the bowl is small, but not too small. My nugget came out like a pellet from the VAP3...fully spent all the way through. The temp display made it easy for me avoid combustion...for me this is the easiest-to-control of the flame-powered vapes. Steam-punk, basic, cheap, garage...call it what you want. But make sure you call it effective!

Exactly! This is the first torch vape i've ever tried, as i've ruled out using torches and butane just in general over my vaping career. @lazylathe brought over his Lotus as well, and it didn't even get used! My first time using the SUP3 was just as tasty, cloudy, and enjoyable as my 3rd or 5th.... No learning curve! (helped that Lazy let me know when to stop heating the block). Hey Lazy, have I EVER during any of our testing getogethers with so many vapes ever said that "I'm buying one of these!" right after the first hit??

Ok it is here...i am a big fan of Ed's but i gotta say these are some of the Shittiest instructions ever. Somebody should do an unboxing video and show how to set this thing up....now to start playing around with this thing.

This is true, and Ed definitely needs to step up the game in order to prevent frustration, as posted by @little maggie.

Huge props to @lazylathe for taking one for the team by jumping on this one and showing me the light! This vape is definitely for me! Smoothest, massive, tasty, cloudy, effectively medicating hits that are easy not to screw up! Don't need to worry about inhaling too slow or too fast, the airflow seems like it's governed to a comfortable draw speed, and always flawlessly perfect ABV no matter the grind! Lazy brought over an awesome torch and it heated up to 180ish in no time. This is going to be the PERFECT vape for my off grid canoe tripping expeditions!

@Vitolo Thanks for posting that awesome prototype pic, and acting on Ed's behalf on the forum! It looks amazing! I would just hope for temps up to 210c at least, or whatever the SUP3 does not... I understand the heat retention will be greater, but 315f is too low of a max temp IMO, unless i'm misconstruing what was posted? If it can go higher, please tell Ed to just take my money already and get this thing into production!

The Supreme 3 is an amazing game changing and very underrated portable torch vape IMHO! This is QUALITY vapour, and I can see how it makes most other vapes in the industry redundant toys.

I can't wait to get my own! Thanks again Lazy! My wife hates you! Selling the MV will fund this one!

I was a little confused at first too, but after watching Ed's 10 second unpacking video it all made sense how to load the bowl and use the paperclip like screen. Watch this like 5 times over and it will probably start to make more sense.

I tried Ed's method a few times. Then I stuck a flat screen (mouthpiece screen from an ESV) in the metal tube and pushed it to the crimp in the metal tube. Now I can load ground material like @Stu mentioned doing.

What are your plans for using the device @little maggie ? Do you intend to hook to water or use direct?

I would like to speak on Ed's customer service. He provides a number in the instructions that I thought would go right to some answering machine or voicemail right away considering I was calling Saturday morning around noon. I was only calling because my thermometer would not turn on and I was hoping there was some trick like click the button 5 or 10 times or something. Ed not only answered the phone, but he walked me through taking the battery out and everything. Turns out my battery had a bad connection or something but it started working while I was on the phone with Ed. I commended him and quickly jumped off the phone to start heating!

5 or 10 minutes later I sent this message to Ed via text, "This thing is great man! It is exactly wat I have been missing since I stopped smoking over a year ago."

I was always a bong toker at night or on weekends. Ever since fully converting to vaping my bong has longed for a companion that will really fog it up. I have tried hooking the Daisy and the ESV and the Firewood3 and they all can perform but typically with great challenges that make them not so great for typical use with a bong. The Supreme V3 fills my bong thick (it looks like I am combusting basically) but my herbs come out a nice even med-dirt brown. I get about 3 hits to a full pack but it is hard to take all 3 because by the 3rd hit I really just need a moment to re-calibrate myself.

Anyways I'm off for another session with the V3. I am loving it!
i ended up using screen from my lily vaporizer...that way i could use a finer grind.

Just so Dab HAppy!
Yes I have. It's very clear. But I am having trouble translating the words to images which is why a video would be a big help.
I believe you mentioned you would like to use your Supreme V3 with glass. What kind of joint does your glass have? Do you have one specific glass piece you intend on using or multiple? For most setups you only need 3 pieces make this device work. It will be the aluminum tube with the crimp in it, a screen and one of the pieces of silicone. If you advise us what type of joint your glass has, we can help you eliminate some of the pieces hopefully.

Fired up the Supreme 3, which has been my daily driver since I opened up the parcel!

Crumbled up some Strawberry Cough, an awesome gift from a good friend!
This strain literally blew my mind!! It tasted exactly like strawberry cough syrup!!
It was crazy!! The Supreme 3 is a flavor machine and a beastly cloud maker!

And the effect was just as good! Deep medication eradicating aches and pains and just total relaxation!
Just that one hit of primo meds is enough for a few hours for me!

ABV was perfect as always, from the very first heat cycle!
This is the idiot proof butane powered vape! Sorry Lotus, you have been retired...and pretty much all my other vapes... Just need to find that one awesome portable to round it out!

Thanks for the info. Is the large silicon tube just for direct draws and the red and clear adaptors for glass?

My Supreme arrived to my house today but... i am in Florida. A friend of mine was kind enough to pick it up for me so it didn't sit in my mailbox or on porch all week

I don't have the clear ring for some reason. Anyway not sure what you mean by what kind of joint. I generally use the DO20 or the FC-MOD. Or rarely the UFO.

You want the setup for 18mm female joint then. The white silicone ring for 18mm female should've come pre-installed (it was on mine anyway) so you should be set from the "stock" setup. Did the white tip not come already attached to your stem?

:peace:

Exactly what @nosmoking said!
I mainly use the red washer and an 18 to 14 glass reducer for my larger jointed WT's.
This way I can easily slip the longer bit of silicone tubing over the red washer and use it for direct draw.

Has anyone here ordered extra parts for their Supreme? I'm thinking it would be a good idea to order a bunch of extra silicone grommets in case of a tear, or perhaps an extra bowl tube or two, screens, etc.

Would LOVE for Ed to make a custom sized fine screen for the bottom of the tube. Lazy, did you just trim a bigger screen down or is it a specific size? Worked like a charm i'd say!

I asked for 3 extra bowls when I ordered, however I did not get them. I am not so concerned though as the aluminum heating chamber cools plenty fast enough for me to reload. I still think it would be good to have an extra heating chamber just because if you accidently crush it your SOL. I also think it is a good idea to have extra silicone grommets and even an extra silicone tube. I actually ripped my red grommet last night so I will be inquiring soon with Ed about some extras. I was able to still use it in a 14mm female glass joint without the red grommet as silicone tubing that is fixed onto the device is pretty much a perfect fit for 14mm.

I used a mouthpiece screen from an Elevape Smart for mine. I believe a Flowermate V5 mouthpiece screen is the same size. Lily screens are probably close as well. Screen size should be about 10mm. The tube itself is 8.5mm but you want a slightly larger screen so it will not fall through.

Also, I made a video last night explaining the parts and pieces of this vape. I will try to get it uploaded today. Working from home so it's going to be a really Supreme kinda day today!

Thanks for your feedback! Definitely need those extra parts!

So for you Supreme heads, since this is my first intro into the torch vape world, is there anything that comes even CLOSE to the Supreme? @lazylathe it looks like you are ready to retire your lotus and vapcaps?

Is it worthwhile to try the vapman or vaponic, vapocane vapes if I have fallen for the SVape3 so hard?

I'm so stoked! I dream of that vapour quality and taste from sunday Lazy!

The Hammer can hit hard but I don't use it much. The Daisy is great. I can do a session in the Daisy in the time it takes to heat the Supreme V3. But nothing is going to hit me (medically) as hard as the Supreme V3. I wonder if the Zion will be able to stand up to this one as far as production/medication per hit, but @IAmKrazy2 should be able to let us know more on that next week. You are probably also going through more material for one hit as well in the Supreme V3 compared to other vapes, but I don't measure so I don't really know.

I have not tried other butane vapes so I can't comment on them really, but I don't think they would stand up to this beast. The thing that makes the Supreme V3 so great is the ability to control your the heat of the air through your entire draw. It has been all over this thread but heat retainage is one thing this vape has that no other convection unit provides. Most convection vapes have a heater that is trying to compensate for your draw so their heat retainage is very inconsistent. This unit retains so much heat that instead of a heater working back and forth to cool itself and heat back up, it just slowly releases its heat until it has no more so you never can overpower the heater and it will never be underpowered until your session is done. This allows you to get the best of your hit. It's the consistency of a conduction bake in a convection unit!
