does anyone know of any place to get (cheap) good stems from until I can get a replacement from Ed?
I also got my first official supreme burn in style!
...So. broke one of my dually stems because it bent slightly and I was trying to bend it back straight and it snapped at the joint.
being mr fucking fix it, I decide I was just going to get the tube red hot and let the two fuse back together
...well, all was well until the bottom piece got too hot, melted slightly, dropped on the counter and started to burn it.
In a moment of panic, I tried to pick up the un-molten piece and throw it in the sink
bad idea...i got instant blisters on my thumb and middle finger of my dominant hand.
...the smell of burning flesh in the morning!
@Lookatmeglow get the dually, the only disadvantage I can see is it not being able to mate with certain prices with the two stems
(like my evo HT for example)
you can actually hit both bowls at the same time WITHOUT a 'Y' shape adapter.

It was fun getting high AF though & spending a whole Saturday developing film all the way to printing & mounting.
If your able, you should get yourself an entry level DSLR, a tripod, shoot in RAW (it's the digital equivalent to a film negative), and get Photoshop Lightroom. Now you have the digital equivalent to your own darkroom! No messy developer!
Then again, Ed could do something about that old site to help eliminate some confusion for newbs, but then again (again) it's all spelled out on the very first page here?
