If I filled the "trench" 50-100% (way more than what most vapes can fit) then it would require mixing around. Otherwise, the back side gets dark brown while the front end is a light golden brown. The supreme, just like any vape other than the HA requires stirring. The air will preferentially flow around the material instead of through it, and therefore requires stirring for even vaporization.
If I filled the supreme's loading tube much less, 5-20%, then I wouldn't have any reason to stir. The heavy conduction aspect of the heating ensures the smaller load is fully extracted (Similar to the HerbalAire, surrounding the herb in very hot metal for the duration of the session)
Also,
when I say stir with the supreme, I've never actually STIRRED it. Same difference but I'd simply dump it all out then re-fill it.
Side note:
My Supreme's temp sensor died about 5 months ago and I haven't felt much desire even to buy a new one (~$25). I found over time the supreme's heat exchanger gets some residue build-up, making an old supreme have a much more restricted draw than a new one. Glad it worked great when I had it but pretty finished with my supreme.
