I dunno... it seems to work fine now.

Does 400+ = instant error?

The display was full of trippy shit, weird symbols :|

ok, thx, so eventually the taste will fade out but not totally i guess.

About, that 400, I do pass over 390 some time to time and mine says "Hi" too, until the temp goes back to 390.
So no pb here

I get that too sometimes. I think it has something to do with the battery making contact where it shouldnt on occasion. If you remove the display, you will see that every time you tap your SV to unload it, the battery can move out of its conductive housing. This is usually when I see my SV going on the fritz a little bit.

If I had a design change - this would be it :)

I am joining the club.... I mean why not?

Ordered from Ed and negotiated a little by taking out the torch and whip. Am I correct in assuming i could use any plastic vape tubing to connect a whip to the mouth piece if i wanted?

I ordered 2 torches from China like SM. Probally will have to wait a bit. Anyone know if Ronson Multi Fill Ultra Butane Fuel will work? Its the standard stuff white and red can. I dont see triple refined on it anywhere though like mentioned earlier in the thread. I'll likely go to a cigar shop and get one more cheap torch backup and some proper butane though anyways. Thanks.

You should be able to stretch the whip tubing OVER mouthpiece.

The whip Ed supplies is different, it's really skinny and goes INSIDE the mouthpiece.

Thanks Chubba. In the rare occasion i use the whip i'll do just that. Wow, i really am looking forward to getting this "lung busting" vape

It's all in the torches :D

I use double Blazer GB2001's atm, cold to 350F in 23 seconds.

Then just use a single torch for each extra hit once hot.

If you don't have proper torches this vape can really drag on and become a chore.

i got the Chinese Blazer knockoff SM55 linked a few pages back and also have a soldering iron torch i can use.

I just use a creme brulee' torch for mine and it works nicely.

My only real 'bitch' about this vape is the digital display. It usually sits at all -------- until I tap it once or twice, it freaks out a bit then starts working. Other than that, its BAD TO THE BONE!

Damn, my display so far has worked 100% perfect.

My biggest gripe, which may not even be a gripe but more a worry... my bud tends to clump up and "stick" inside the bowl after I've finished and was requiring a pretty substantial beating to get it to come out.

So now I just unfold a paper clip, stick it in and swirl it around to loosen it up and then 1 little tap and it's out, done this for about 100 bowls with no problems but apparently the temp sensor is inside the bowl :uhoh::uhoh::uhoh:

I get it stuck inside as well but only when I let the unit cool off first. I just put it upside down in a metal mason jar lid and smack it down on a desk or padded surface. One smack when it's still hot, three smacks if it's cooled down and stuck.

Just got my first two uses out of my new Supreme. Yeah, nice and thick, as advertised. I am noticing it makes a much nicer seal on 14mm glass then it does on 18mm. Still works, but not airtight. So far, i like it. More to come later, going out for a couple hours.

Have you checked the battery? It sometimes slips out a little. Be careful with the wires though. Very delicate. I've gone through more than a few of those displays. I recommend buying a couple extra to have on hand if a wire breaks when changing the battery. Otherwise you have to kind of time it and judge by smell while waiting for another temp display to be shipped. They were $15 the last time I bought one (a long while ago).

I remember when I first got this vape. I made a review on some site, I forget what it was called, and was attacked as being a shill by some guy who said the SV burned the herb.

I don't even bother using it on 18mm joints. I have to use an 18mm->14mm adapter.

no moving part ?
the metal block moves a tiny little bit when I shake the SV, does anybody has that to ?

As for my xp, it fits perfetcly on the bong that i had, i just plug it in the femal part where i use to load the weed when i was combusting.
Using it for almost two months, some times I don't touch my cano for 2-3 days and the SV has amazed a lot of people, even some almighty unbelievapers !!

Yeah, When I shake my SV hard, the block makes a rattling noise too so it must be normal I guess.

No luck here :(

Mine was taking 10+ hits even while still blazing hot 300F+, 10 seconds after my last hit.

When it was cold, forget about it, sometimes 30-40 hits then I would get angry and get a skinny screwdriver and shove it up there.

Mine has a few mm wiggle room now in every direction... up/down, side/side and even rotate.

Still feels firmly attached and doesn't seem to be getting looser at all.

Yeah mine rattles, not sure it's the HE though, sounds like something INSIDE.

How do you pack your bowls? I normally just take a small spoonfull of grinded herbs, drop it in the hole and smack the sides of the SV with my hands till it's all in the bowl. Sometimes I scrape it the inside of the wood with the back of my mini spoon if some doesn't fall in. Then I just throw the screen on and heat it up.

I'm the same.

Mines VERY fine, verging on powder, same consistency as I do for my Purple Days.

Simply drop it in, 1/3rd - 1/2 bowl, shake it side to side and like you I scrape the remaining around the edge (except I use my fingernail) into the bowl.

Screen in, flip over, hit it back to back (never let it go below 300F) till the bowls finished and then it's cemented in place :(

If I stick the paperclip in and loosen it up, it simply "falls" out, doesn't even need a tap, I'm just worried in the long run I'll end up damaging the thermo inside the bowl.

I found a small plastic funnel that fits down into the lip of the chamber perfectly! Makes loading super slick.:)

so I guess it s normal to have sme small moving he.

and what about your block guys ? mine get slightly coloured on the top (like rust Id say) .
maybe because i live it out of the sock or because I some time blow into the metal part to clear the tube... i don t know but I hope it doesn t get inside.

Btw did dome one already opened the block and reassembled it ? it looks doable.

To pack, I used to use the triangle scraper (then a guitar pick when I lost the scraper) that comes with Space Cases to scoop up a little herb and load into the SV. Then I use a small brush to brush any material from the side into the bowl. Pop the screen in and start heating.

I have no recollection of the heat exchanger moving. But it has been a while.

My block would get some discoloration on the side where I apply the flame. I used a sponge with an abrasive side and it comes right off.

It will be interesting to see the new heat exchanger protective cover when the next version comes out. I would guess that a person could upgrade their existing Supreme. It would be nice to be able to "cap and go" with a very hot Supreme!:)
