Did he mention if the next version going to be battery powered?stonemonkey55 said:I bumped into Ed yesterday, said we are 5 months out from v2.0 of the Supreme
just thought anyone that was waiting for the second one should know how long til the next revision
I have no idea why, but after reading this, the first thing that came to mind was this.............Chubba said:.....I've never managed to touch it even while blind drunk.
Sorry.. that would never brand into your palmWolface said:Imagine trying to explain to someone why the words "CAUTION HOT" are branded onto your palm! As long as your paying attention, as you should be because you also have a 2000 degree torch in the other hand! I haven't had any issues ,yet. I enjoy this method over any other device i've tried!
It used to be. A few years ago when I got my SV Ed said he was working on a battery powered version. It was supposed to be ready within the year if memory serves. I did follow up with him, I think he had run into some problems.stonemonkey55 said:LOL - it will be easier to load and there will be a cover for the heating element.
A battery powered Supreme? now that's a million dollar idea right there but unfortunately not part of the product road map.
I have to agree with you, the loading/screen setup is simple and works very well, I don't see any need to change it.Chubba said:I love the loading/screen system... it just works
I do find that to be true, although I am not sure if the woody taste is from the unit itself or from the heating mode of the SV (convection + conduction) which tends to brown herbs and make them unpalatable to vape more quickly than a convection-only unit (at comparable temps). Of course, thats where the SV gets its super thorough duffing ability tho!Raf007 said:do you guys still have a slight woody taste after a long use ?
Compared to when I first started... there's very little to pretty much no wood taste. I've ran around 200 full bowls through my unit so far.do you guys still have a slight woody taste after a long use ?
I don't find it much of a problem. The only thing that I don't like about loading the Supreme is when you just dump the herbs in the end, half goes down into the chamber & the other half gets hung up on the rim before the chamber. I found a small, long funnel that fits perfectly and lets the herbs just slide right down into the chamber! Maybe the new loading system is similar to this?
What's it say or do now?? Cuz Ive taken mine well above 400F and the worst Ive seen mine do is say "Hi" and shut off the LCD.... Jump in the chatroom/IRC if you can. Im in there now...Ill try to helpChubba said:So after 300-400 full bowls I have passed 400F+
My Supreme completely spazzed out on the digital display, weird shit that makes no sense
Is this normal, surely a bunch of other FC users have encountered this....
