Re-branded? maybe. Knockoffs? no. Those are two different things. They put their name on their vape pens, that counts.
You are correct, they are not knockoffs, I stand corrected. What they are though is pre-existing marginally functional China-made products that 7th Floor has their name printed on. Quite different from the great quality, US-made vapes that they built their name on. It's a me-too product. They do great work on the custom glass portion, but sadly this greatly increases the cost of the pen without effecting function (imo).
The larger picture here tying it back to the point of this thread, is that 7th Floor seems to have gone off the tracks a bit; as desktop vapes are clearly in the decline now that portables have solidified proper function, (one look at the Desktop Thread Candidates tells the story) its odd that they chose to put so much time and effort into a super duper desktop with bells and whistles as opposed a portable model. Its fans on this site have asked for a portable LSV since its inception. I don't think anyone was dying for the SSV to have a bag. Considering W9 Tech has procured a smaller, portable version of the ceramic heater that made 7th Floor famous, it just seems odd that they went in the opposite direction of the will of the people. But its a company that can, and should, do exactly what they feel is best. Its not for me to judge. But
!!!!
I, like so many others, would just LOVE LOVE LOVE a mini LSV, all glass, same design, portable and battery powered. An Arizer Air that looks like an LSV. Oooops.
