Hey friend, hope you're doing well.Hey folks,
I have a question, which stickybrick should I get?
My requirements are simple:
Flavor is number 1 priority.
Want to use the SB for dry herb as well as concentrates and tobacco.
Don't want to use a water tool.
Prefer a 1 hand operation. Easier to clean/store and less parts is better.
Questions:
Do all sticky bricks have the same chamber size?
Which one gives the best flavor/vapor quality?
If you'd have to chose between Junior & the runt, which one would you chose and why?
Curerently I have a Dynavap Nonavong XLS, FF2, Arizer Argo, Arizer EQ, Solo II. So I have some experience with butane torch vaporizers but expect to have a learning curve with the stickybricks. Does all new stickybricks comes with a restrictor disc?
By 1 hand operation, do you mean like a dynavap is one handed (torch in one hand, vape in the other)?
All of the bricks except the Hydro brick consist of three pieces of wood and have pretty much the same number of parts. From the three bricks I've had (OG, runt, Flip) the chambers are more or less all similar in size. I fill the bowl all the way and then tamp down.
As flavor might be the most subjective parameter when looking for a vape, and highly dependent on your medicine, it's tough to say. Be aware that wood will naturally impart a flavor to your experience. Black limba is one of the most neutral in flavors that is offered.
With that being said, if you're not interested in ever using a brick through water, the OG takes the slight edge as far as dry herb flavor, imo. The runt is still my favorite and if I could only have one, it would be the runt. All new bricks come with restrictor disks.
P.S. I've not smoked much tobacco (twenty years ago was my only cigarette) and have never vaped tobacco, but I would guess that tobacco has a much stronger flavor overall when vaped. It might really saturate your brick with that tobacco flavor, possibly making your cannabis taste like tobacco. Again, I'm totally guessing and don't have any experience.
