Certainly is. The yeti is great.

The only thing would be that the rubber gasket around the seal starts to take on the smell a little after a few months, though it's easily washed.

I've been using stainless steel water bottles as storage such as yeti & hydroflask.

not using boveda packs though, should I be?

I have never used one.........not even sure if I have even seen one.

They are not necessarily needed if you have a handle on the process or don't really give a shit about a specific moisture level.

How do you wash it?

Just classic hot water, the O-Ring gaskets are removable.
