Any links to the called vids?
And longtime heating of the LIMAX does not have negatve effects on terpenes? 30' is a damned long time.
Here it is! I figured out how to get it on here.

But $2.999 is a joke, isn't it?
And what was the yield? Don't look so much for 3 oz of material!?

I have stepped down to a smaller torch, but still looking to refine the heat control a bit.
Do IR temp guns have any accuracy with the Slug or is the exterior too hot from torching to get an accurate temp reading?
You can always get cheap multimeter with thermocouple 5-10$ ,does a great job, another option is putting an over thermometer or sticking bbq thermometer inside.Shiny metals are hard to get IR readings on unless you know to put a black line on it with a fat tip marker.
I read that some where and it does work for my 710Snob press plates.
Just a guess:
I assume anything beyond 1-1.5" ID and you would have to move beyond a drill bit on the milling machine and probably onto a CNC lathe capable of spinning maybe a 6-8" OD. Additionally, spinning a diameter of steel of that size and for a depth required to handle over an oz at a time would be pretty spendy. Orders of magnitude more. And fucking scary imo. Hate lathes.
Our next release is going to be our 1/2 oz unit. It will be available this fall. But I don't see how you would want to take it to peoples homes ect. unless they had the shop press to run it. We have a kit for that, its called the Masters Kit. It comes with everything you need, forever. Show up at a party with that..you'd be the man! Check it out at slug33.com
5 gram unit?..not sure i understand the 1gm comment? we have a 1 gram unit. We have a 2 gram unit and a 3.6 gram unit. The problem is this, when you go larger you go the bench vise becomes less of an option.
I save my pucks for coconut oil extractions. I don't re press them. Im sure you could though! sounds fun.
Lathe??...... yea.. think about the LIMAX that fucker weighs 80 lbs. They are made on cnc mill.
Thank you for your time.

@Ramahs polish enhancing perfomance...? I guess if you really want to examine the minutest details having a smoother surface for the rosin to run could enhance performance. It does feel smoother in the hand. I love it. For 15.00 bucks right now..it hard to pass up.
i don't use mine enough.

Same here, but I still have to find a good vise for it.
