MVS is the truth,no doubt. Haven’t put mine down yet. Haven’t used the 2021 omni since.
thinking of getting a wood midsection stem for mine now. to use with the Stinger.
Only gripe I have is it’s hard to disassemble, the pieces fit tight, my 2021 omni tip is insanely tight. And the mouthpiece end sometimes too.
I think the deal right now is $199 with ti tip and cap included. Plus a 10mm glass water pipe adapter. @Photonic

A few questions for those in the know:
1) what does MVS stand for ? Vortex Simrell ?
2) Is the Stinger the actual twisty thing or something else?
3) For those who have new cooling thingy (less twists) vs. old cooling thingy (more twists) - is there a big difference?
Also, not sure I have weighed in here yet, but I got this one a couple of months ago and it really does smooth/cool vapor quite a bit. Very happy with it.

2. The stinger is a Simrell mouthpiece, condenser and Intercooler twisty thing.
3. I kind of feel a bit more airflow and less resistance but it may be in my head.
I love all my Simrell stuff.

I couldn’t resist. I like my original Titanium Vortex, and Cocobolo stem with vortex, so this is probably the cheapest the MVS will sell for, and will hopefully be my LAST Simrell......

You’re going to love it. I still feel the MVS and Vortex are two of my nicest stems. Did you get an extra O ring kit? I’m sure you have seen there are quite few O rings of various sizes.

I ended up selling my MVS rather quickly, why would I prefer such a heavy stem?
Cant hold it with my mouth either, so no handsfree operation.
The airhole settings are rather useless and the whole thing is REAAALLY fat.
If you have a Vortex youre all good in my opinion!
Spend the money on some cool custom stuff.
I feel like Simrell is just milking the market at this moment!
To anyone who cant decide, your Vortex is the better stem

Enjoy and buy what you want fam, MVS, Vortex, Shortex or even a performance kit for your favorite stem. Simrell products are just amazing IME and have made me able to enjoy my Vapcaps again without triggering my asthma

That makes total sense, I have a friend that likes the vapor like you and doesn't rate my Simrells that much. He also says that my MVS doesn't have that much flavor and lacks the punch he gets from his Omni.Happy you like your MVS and couldt agree more, different people different tastes

Its almost the same difference as the Omni and the Vortex I think! 
Once you try it out you cant go back.
For me the normal Crafty at 185-190°C is nice and tasty, but can be heavy on the throat.
With the Vortex you just inhale and inhale and blow out huuuge clouds while getting enough taste out of it.
Its easily my most used Vape combo during the day and I have quite a lot of options.
If you dont have an adapter yet just try a short piece of silicone tubing and connect your Vortex.
And if you get extra funky try the Vortex on any Vape you have.
I just tried it with the Vapbong and its incredible
Once you try it out you cant go back.

High wise I don't think there is any difference. But lungs wise my asthma loves my Simrell and hates any other non-intercooler options
Vapor is just a collection of high boiling liquids and the intercooler will trap the heaviest ones. If the vapor coming from the tip is only slightly hotter than the vaporization temperature of your beloved components, they will condense on the intercooler instead of going into your lungs.
I only use my Stinger for hash, combustion zone temps and the added cooling are perfect for this and the flavour is punchy to say the least. I was disappointed when I tried it with flower though, the 21 Omni is waaaaaay better if it's flavour you're after.

We exhale after a hit a lot more vapor than the intercooler will ever be able to trap, the amount is just really small to affect high-wise IME. I will agree on the flavor/harshness aspect, for flavor an Omni will be better for sure.
But the amount of vapor the intercooler can trap compared to how much our lungs can't absorb and then we exhale is infimal IMHO

I can say I've tested both on camera and the 21 omni gives a bigger visible cloud, using the same tips.
When I do use a simrell I tend to reach for my vortex over my mvs just prefer the size and look only cosmetic and feel, Not a big fan of the adjustable airflow either. Lmao sounds like Im Hating on it but no its amazing, dynavap just nailed the omni.
Vortex still holds a special place in my heart when the omni wasn't as good.

Simrell MVS arrived. No review, there’s tons on YouTube, and user reviews here. I already own the OG Vortex, and a cocobolo Vortex, so I wasn’t surprised at the tight machining and polish. The easy to adjust carb, is the best feature (0-100), but the fact that you could use the internal “stinger”, which is also sold separately, in most other DV stems is a nice bonus. It reminds of of the fine instrument felling of my HL IO, but with no electronics, will work and last a long time.(I added 3 oring packs). I am more then pleased, now my #1 DV stem. Can’t find a negative, and worth it even at list price in my opinion. Looks great with the 7 Fin Titanium tip....
Forgot to add, I was also nicely surprised that the stem is NOT much thicker/wider in my opinion even compared to my OG Vortex, after reading a lot of opinion reviews, I was expecting a cigar... it’s thin an SVELTE!

Nice Rusty. I know you were up in the air about another Simrell purchase. I’m happy you are pleased. The 77 fin is how I’ve rock it since day one! Love it. Mine is definitely my daily driver, pick of the litter, and all that and a bag a chips. I take great pride in the care of my stuff but this particular tool Ive used hard with love. It’s scratched up from being used in ground glass joints, packed in out of town kits, and thrown around the work bench. It’s just cosmetic. A mirror finish is just a fine grit away.

Hmmm... that photo looks familiar.... I had some scuff from putting my OG Vortex in a 10mm ground joint, even though I already KNEW NOT to do it, like a child might do. Since I prefer my 14mm make glass stems with my water rigs, and my Simrells’s native, my OCD led me to research polishing titanium. I bought but never had the courage to try the super fine polishing papers, (Simrell himself wrote back to me with this suggestion), but recently I wanted to try something for my HL IO Titanium device, and researched polishing cloths, that jewelers use. You can even get free samples. Long story ... short, it worked on my minor scuffs, I found and bought 10mm glass adapters from vgoodiez, that are UNGROUND, and I see Simrell is now offering them on his site. Anyways, if anyone is interested, I left polishing cloth info in the Hopper IO thread just recently, if you can’t find it let me know.....
