It's incredibly potent - 30% thc ,a little bit goes a long way. Microdosing and small-dosing it gives fantastic results. It's energizing and encourages creativity, however hitting too much too soon gives me the opposite results, I feel stupid and just want to go to sleep..
sounds exactly like the Ghost Train Haze! these sativas are so great!
at the night, did you fell a sleep easily? high THC strains like GTH make me go to bed (high dose) , but takes time actually really to falling a sleep.

I'm thinking of stopping by my fav NYC not yet legal Dispensary to pick up a little of their Durban poison strain ... a little pricey but I'll have another top shelf strain in my arsenal and my first sativa (not counting those I may have smoked in all my years). I'm not sure if the "Cedella Marley Booker" in the tag means its related to Marley Natural product but I'm excited to give it a try

Got the Cedella Marley Booker "Pure Sativa" Durban Poison💀 and enjoying the hell out of it this nice Saturday evening ...

On the Markey Natural site they describe the strain as the "espresso" of pure Sativas but I'm not 100% sure this Cedella product is related to the Marley family Marley Natural strains but given that Cedella was Bob Marleys Mother it'd be pretty bold if they weren't. One things for sure I'll be buying more at Christmas time for sure. It's described as sweet but if so in a danker grape purple sort if way. I wish the prices weren't so high in NYC for the premium top shelf cannabis strains right now but thank God its here in the first place. Have a good Saturday night everybody

Not typically a Sativa lover due to the racy nature of some of the strains I have tried. Agree with all about Super Silver Haze, fantastic, creative, energetic without the anxiety. Lately I have been enjoying some high thca hemp by the name of Hippie Crippler. It takes one hit from the Anvil and I am ready to clean, cook, play guitar, run the dogs. All the shit Indicas make me not want to do. I am sorry I have slandered Sativas in the past.

I feel like I need sativas in order to be productive. Like if I got off work and didn't have a few bong rips of sativa I'd probably not have the energy to cook, clean, water plants, do hobbies, etc. No one in my personal life is into them and I always feel like they're seriously missing out. Sure, a sativa can give you a bit of anxiety or paranoia but if you just keep moving you'll find yourself super productive. I'm sure like all things its super subjective but to me sativas are for day time and indica is for night time. All subjective and your mileage may vary but in general thats my experience and how I decide what I'm growing next.

Edit: Figured I'd add a pic of the current grow. Its Mephisto Forum Stomper which is 50/50 sativa/indica. No idea how a balanced mix like that will effect me but I figured it was worth a shot and it looks and smells awesome.

does it smell like Sour or Grapes? the genetics is like GSC x Sour Stomper
so (Durban x OG Kush) x (GrapeStomper OG x Sour Crack)

Durban and Sour Crack are mostly sativa yeah
but the Stomper/OG Kush are like indica/hybrid

interesting to hear which smells it has..

no grape in the nose to me, sour I can pick out and kush. Honestly, its pretty damn blended of the two. I wish I could pick out everything better, this is only my 4th grow so I'm still super noob and working on my experience with black market strains so who knows if that actually gives me any real knowledge base.

although your leafs don't look 100% healthy, the colla looks awesome. dunno if you check EC or so, and how often, and how you feed the plant, but it looks good although the leafs are not perfect. good job imho!
I think these leafs known better days before, and something isn't 100% right, but far away from being too bad.

I can see a lot of trichomes, that's the important thing!!

For sure, I've been dealing with my soil ph dropping through the floor a week or so into flower and I finally on this grow figured out the dolomite lime is way more effective than Garden Lime. Anyways, I anticipate the next grow going better but for sure these things are smacked with trichomes and are super dense.

EDIT: The whole plant, goal for me with this limited space is 4oz and I did it last grow and I think I got it this time too. LST has been working out good.

Sure, a sativa can give you a bit of anxiety or paranoia but if you just keep moving you'll find yourself super productive.

I posted this on a thread about depression and anxiety. For me, if a sativa strain causes anxiety, I say use it. Sit with that feeling for a few moments. Eventually you'll come to understand it's just noise in your head and it cannot hurt you. If you can breakthrough to the other side of it, you'll have one of the most joy inducing experiences possible on cannabis. The rest of that high will be a pure pleasure. And I found the benefits continue into sober life as well. Kind of like training with a weighted vest on.

Granted I don't think I've ever had severe clinical anxiety, so don't take this as medical advice.

Agreed, for me at least it helps to confront those feelings, accept them, and move on. Over time it becomes less and less but when it does happen its always good to give it an understanding nod and move on. Helps when the real anxiety shows its head

I honestly think sativas have "cured" my anxiety in daily life. Like, if you can deal with it during a THC storm in your brain, handling it sober is a peace of cake. It will still arise from time to time, but is never a problem like it was before.

I'll still enjoy indicas, but like other have said. I usually have shit to do after work and sativas allow me to do those things and enjoy them.

17.5 days without THC, I'd be very careful if I had some crazy ass sativa like Ghost Train Haze or Super Lemon Haze... probably would vape around 0.02gr of it... it can cause anxiety for newbies....

This company is speaking my language

"It’s time to treat sativas for what they are: pure wonders distinctly different from indicas that have earned their place in any growroom and in every stash. Durban Poison. Chocolate Thai. Lamb's Bread. Sativas possess one-of-a-kind terpenes and uplifting effects that can’t be replicated in any indica.

Do they take longer to grow? It’s well worth the wait. Do they grow taller? They’re beasts, but worth the burden. Do they take longer to cure? Yeah, but so does barrel-aged whisky. Every production trait commercial cannabis growers stay away from allows sativas to produce a creative, energetic smoke that’s like no other, and it’s that smoke we want to share with all who seek it."

Purple Tangie in the vape here. Another great 70% sativa (estimate). I've had very good luck with a number of Tangie strain mixes. Sorry, no pictures, but a highly recommended sativa strain.

Have a great weekend

From Mystery of Sativa's lips to my dispensary's shelves! Not happening in PA though. I like that they mention some of my favorite strains.

Got my hands on some Acapulco Gold. First time since I was 17 y.o. or so! And who knows if what I had back then was really AG? It had legendary status in the mid 70s where I was. Only a couple of sessions so far with this batch but I can sense it becoming a staple if it stays at dispensaries in my area. Nice clean head high zero stress uplifting nothing but goodness so far. Looking forward to today's second round with it.

Hey folks.

I used to have a strain a long time ago that was an (unknown) Haze hybrid with Night Queen, an indica from Dutch Passion. It would be ready after 9 weeks of flowering.

it had the most sublime and persistent incense aroma and flavour similar to francincense, which is to me the HOLY GRAIL of cannabis.

It was also potent and resinous, with the resin sometimes turning black after keeping the herb for a while in warm conditions. It was really quite different to anything I have seen since or before.

Alas the clone was lost due to migration and lack of organisation :(
I have tried various sativas since but have not found this flavour again- just lemony stuff, or earthy stuff.

I did some research and it appears this is a phenotype trait that is usually not found in all plants of any particular strain...and is generally found in haze-indica hybrids.

Relevant strains mentioned by others to have such aromatic phenotypes are Kali Mist, Jack Herer, Afghan Haze, SAGE and potentially some indicas .... Pure landrace sativas that take months to mature are not where it's at for this. Jack Herer and Kali Mist genetics seem to have been diluted or weakened or lost?

Finding such a plant again would be heaven ..... does anyone have any clues?
